Wish we got to see the driver setup. Phil said in an interview last week he changed setup which helped him in route to a win.

The shaft was the Project X Smoke Green in matte black. Not sure of the weight/flex, but would assume it was 6.5TX.

If Phil sticks with the blades with an adjustable weight someone needs to put the lead tape industry on high alert.

I was wondering if it is his Phrankenwood... Wasn't that a X hot mutt club?

He has switched driver shafts a lot lately.. From the KBS, to the new RIP, to the KBS, to a smoke green... The last time I saw him swinging a driver (last week) he still had the KBS tour in play I think.

He had the smoke green in his Driver last week. Project X mentioned it on their Instagram

He is still way across the line on his backswing with the long clubs. How long can a he keep doing that and get any kind of good results?

I love Phil, and his crazy "get outta jail" rounds, but if he would just fix that that issue, he'd hit a lot more fairways. But then, he wouldn't be Phil.......

I really like this strategy for him- hit fairways when you need to (and still be "long enough"), or hit hellacious seeds when the opportunity presents.
