2021 Club Cameron releases

Ive been refreshing all morning and distracted by work call for 2 minutes! 🤷🏼‍♂️  Would like a towel for the next release please.

What a joke. Who has time to sit and refresh for 2 hours? To hope and pray they drop at the consistent 11.30am est only to drop 35 minutes earlier?

I like the headcover.  Good color and fun, simple art.  I typically buy the ones I could see myself actually using rather than for flipping.  I can see this one in my bag for the summer.  The website was a little slow but I was able to get the headcover after I saw the email come in.  Usually I'm online refreshing like everyone else!

Actually like the random release times. Kind of how things used to be in the beginning from what I’ve heard. Also takes the bots out of it for the most part.

As much as I love Cameron goodies, the clinic keeps me too busy to have to look out for the emails. The 10:30 drop at least gave me a fighting chance. If I really want a cover, guess my fandom will take me to the secondary market. The anxiety is just not worth it.

Wouldn't this make the bots much more successful? Since they don't have to be there to actually refresh constantly?

Are they going to constantly refresh for 24-48 hours? Last drop came on Monday closer to noon. 
 

Also from what I’ve experienced and seen this year refreshing actually partially logs one out of the site and despite being shown as logged in the site shows for members only on each item so the refreshing doesn’t seem to be as helpful as in the past

Had the hat and head cover in my cart. Keep freezing. Took the headcover out. Said it worked and then 30 minutes later still spinning and go nothing

And that was probably without a large portion of the members even aware that it was released early.

The quality of the website continues to test people nerves, it's unacceptable for a brand as big as Scotty Cameron to have issues handling increased traffic on release days when they know what to expect based on the membership numbers they possess.

Repeating my previous post, the website was still painfully slow even with the surprise 11am est release.  Im sure a decent amount of members were not logged on at 11am. Although the items still sold out as quick as ever.

I don't get it. I wasn't even refreshing on the release and was notified by text from a friend. Walked to my office, purchased the cover and then went back and purchased the putting path and disc, pretty much without a hitch.

i happened to grab my phone at 11:02, was already logged on. Headcovers and disks were gone. Then took a while for me to purchase the t shirt. 🤷🏼‍♂️   Maybe more of a bad internet connection this time!??!?

I think it dropped well before 11. My receipt is from 9:58 central, and I know that was a few minutes delayed at least.

 

But it still went remarkably quickly for a surprise and early drop.

Yeah might've been your internet, had no problem getting the headcover and path tool at about 9 am MT. But still, kinda dumb that Scotty has to go to random times to give his site a chance. Best thing to do is just be logged in super early. I was able to get stuff from the Masters release because I was logged in at 9 MT, but I understand not everyone has the luxury of time to sit around refreshing.

I just happened to check the site at 11 and the release just popped up. Least hectic release I’ve had in forever. Dang too bag three wasn’t a bag lol. 
I just got the cover.  Haven’t had much luck in recent releases when it dropped at regular time.  And I missed the other random release completely.

I used to love this thread for all of the releases.  Some years i was a member and some not.  But this year 90% of the posts have been complaining about service and what not.

I get it.  The Scotty site is garbage but all of the complaining has really taken away from this thread.

To be fair the releases this year have been pretty underwhelming. I think if the releases were getting knocked out of the park there would be some more focus on that.

I think he meant limited within the release, like the gold flags instead of yellow on this year’s Master’s release. I didn’t see anything about one. He usually put it in the headcover description when it’s in the website.

He did say something about gators and dolphins in the description that had people wondering.

But thus far I don't think we've seen one
