I was wondering how the Mavrik Fast would be released. It's been on the USGA conforming list for a while now, and it seems like it's going to be a Japan exclusive.

Add in a silver face compared the the typical black. I wonder why the silver face is popular in Japan?

these companies spend a lot of money to figure out what works.  They do sell a bunch of 500 golf clubs lol

It says the wedges are very similar to the forged wedges used by Ryo Ishikawa.

Reminds me of the Epic Forged with the silver face and heel weight placement.

yeah, it's basically the epic forged driver 2.0. that driver never was released in america.

A forged version of MD4 was released in Japan, but not in the US or Europe, so based on that I'd say it's unlikely but not impossible that these wedges are released elsewhere. The forged version of the MD3 was released in Japan first, then the US a few months later.

I'm surprised more OEMs don't release forged wedges stateside and only keep them for the overseas markets. Would gladly pay a few bucks more to try out some forged vokeys or jaws wedges if they were widely available just to even test out at shops.

Absolutely Agreed 100%....Vokey Forged Wedges that are sold for the Japan market would sell like hotcakes

The loft and bounce on the Jaws Foreged are quite unique.

50-10* 54-12* 58-10*

 

They do have very unique bounce and all models only comes in C grind.

 

The leading edge seems to be less rounded in comparison to the original MD5 JAWS

 

With full length on lowest groove

 

Forged carbon steel S20C feel solid but soft similar to my Miura TC201

There is also a Ryo Ishikawa-spec limited model.

56* and 60* only. Raw heads. 60 has full-face grooves à la PM-Grind.

Are the full scoring lines only available on the 60*? Ever since I had a Hi-Toe I wanted full scoring lines on a regularly shaped wedge.

Have always liked silver-faced drivers over the years. I like them for the alignment contrast vs the crown. I had a few JDM S Yard drivers with silver faces and I remember some older Callaways too.

JAWS Forged looks fantastic, would love to try one if it comes in LH. My favorite wedge was the Mack Daddy 2 Tour Grind, the MD4 C grind has been great for me as well.

Really good looking wedges. Straighter leading edge and full length bottom score line. Much better than the god awful look of the current Callaway wedges.

Will the JAWS Forged wedges be released in US/Canada anytime soon? Is the mid-April date after The Masters still true?

ordered mine today. 52 56 and 60. C grind only which is what i currently play plus a tad more bounce.

nice. They told me 10 days-2 weeks. Is that what you were told?? I wanted to play the Mizuno t20’s until I wore the grooves off, but these puppies are going right in the bag.

nice! im pumped. i didn't get a timeline but assuming 2 weeks as they were in stock. The MD5 RAW line is backordered until end of june. I went with Modus 125. Should match up with my MBs quite well.

All lob wedges are built same length, flex and swing weight.

Man, the one on the left with the standard scoring looks A MAZING.....
