Injuries have seemed to have him not making plans too far in advance, and plenty of speculation on here as to what he plans to do all the time, last minute signups have been pretty common when he's been hurt (which has been a lot), maybe wrx hype overtaking reality but seems to be the case . . . . BUT I don't hang on his every announcement so won't claim to be a TW schedule expert.

 

Some think he's famous for being coy about it, so here's one dissent, maybe it's off?

It seems to me he’s had no gas in the tank since he won the Masters. His whole recovery, winning on tour culminated with winning the Masters. His body is wrecked, he can’t put in the time to get his game in order. Playing 4 rounds of tournament golf and the practice required is tough on a surgically repaired 45 year old body. I would not be surprised if he hung it up soon.

I’m with you on this, I don’t mind it but there are some *Bill Murray* that are so bad that ruin it. I do enjoy watching the more athletic and lower handicap ams.

Having "celebrities" interviews were great.  Didn't have to wait for a commercial to go and use the restroom or grab a snack...

Sincerely hoping that the new Am’s goes down so successfully that they stick with it forever more. The whole tournament has become unwatchable.

 

It used to be one that I was always interested in watching.

 

It was Pebble and my earliest memories of Pebble are seeing TW doing incredible things there so it always had that going for it. Every year that was chipped away at though by being forced to watch Bill Murray and what I think was supposed to be some kind of comedy routine combined with some antics which were supposed to be funny. They weren’t. They never were. That added to having to watch a bunch of names that could either be filed under faceless CEO or used to be famous meant that I was happy to give up that as being a weekend for watching golf and concentrate on things that were more interesting like cleaning, catching up on work or sitting on my couch doing nothing.
