Srixon Irons wait time.

Yep, mine showed up two days ago, picked them up yesterday.  They must have built them late on a Friday, shipped me everything but the 9 iron, Its on it way now:-). Made me laugh, I can imagine the builder who showed up to work on Monday to discover the 9 still sitting next to his/her work station.  Whoops…all good though, happy to get them.

I didn't have to wait long. Ordered Dec 5th, Arrived today 12th. I'm loving the looks of these. Can't wait to try them out! Hope to get cleared next to play from my foot surgery

They look so nice 👍🏻 I can’t wait to get mine. I’ll be checking with Srixon on December 16th as the one Recoil 95 shaft I’m waiting on, should arrive on December 15th 🙏🏻 Small side note: This is my first set of graphite shafted irons and I also got my Cleveland Wedges in the same shaft and they feel fantastic. I should’ve done it a long time ago.

100% this. I don’t think it’s about forgiveness as much as it’s about the right launch and gapping.

 

I went all ZX7 but only from 5 iron up. 4 iron is the 785 utility in 23 degrees

Has anyone that ordered custom ZX5/ZX7’s since the middle of November received their clubs?

 

I ordered Pings in July(delayed until Jan 2022 so I cancelled), Taylormades in September(delayed until Mar 2022 so I cancelled), and then Srixons last month. Praying these ones actually deliver in the time frame promised.

I order my ZX5’s on November 8th, with an expected ship date of December 3rd. They were custom 1.5 degree flat, Recoil 95 F4, soft stepped 1x. Then the ship date was pushed out to January 4th, due to not having a 9 iron shaft.  Low an behold the 9 iron shaft came in and I got the FedEx shipment information this morning, that they were shipped last night December 16th and they will be here by Monday, December 20th, by 4:30 p.m. My wife was as happy as I was, being that the clubs were my Christmas 🎅 🎄present.

Think it comes down to the shafts with Srixon currently

To a lesser extent, grips. Pick the wrong grip and that will get you a delay as well. Easier to choose a different grip, but as you say, pick the wrong shaft and you might not get your clubs until the snow stops flying.

Yeah I chose the stock grip to avoid any further delays. But I ordered KBS Tour shafts which seem to have had supply issues so I’m not getting my hopes up.

My buddy ordered left hand ZX5's with Nippon 105's and got them in 2 weeks.

last I heard, if you were getting xstiff then it was PX6.5 or PXLZ 6.5 if you want them now. I ended up going PX6.5

Ordered a set of zx7, kbs $taper stiff 1* strong on 12/26 and got the shipping notice this morning.

I did receive my clubs on the 20th and my wife wrapped them for Christmas. On Christmas Day I officially opened them up and the 5 iron head had a flaw on the back toe side of the head. It wasn’t nicked or damaged through shipping, it just had a few ripples in it. It’s been sent back and should be back to me in another week or so.

Yeah... when I ordered mine through a rep at a demo day about a month ago, he said that KBS shafts were out of stock & back ordered.

 

I got my ZX7s with Project X and they were delivered in about a week and a half.

Ordered a ZX4 4-iron w/ UST Recoil ES780 F4 graphite shaft to test out as a Driving Iron (+1.5" and 2* Up).

 

Ordered on 12/29 and came in 1/7....9 days door to door from Cali to Canada over the Holidays...pretty awesome! 👌👌

I emailed customer service through my fitter last week, and was told that the hold up was with the midsize tour velvet grips. Which is frustrating because I was told to go with stock grips by my fitter to avoid any delays. They said they had grey MCC plus 4’s in stock, and could make the change to those and they would ship in a week. I won’t believe it until I get the call that they are actually in, but I guess(hopefully) the KBS tour shafts are in stock?

Not a Canada thing. I'm in Canada also and have ordered a bunch of things through Srixon Canada (ZX4, ZX5, ZX7, and RTX Zipcore) over the last 6mths, and all have arrived within 9-21 days. 

 

The delay is most likely caused by your shafts being backordered, or grips. Best bet would be for you to ask TXG to call Srixon and find out which item they are waiting for stock on, then decide if you want to wait it out or change your specs.

They were mmt 105 stiff and lamkin crossline full cords, just sent them an email but i don’t think either are crazy backlogged, mmt’s are pretty readily available everywhere
