online golf shops that sell iron heads?

I've been trying to get my hands on a set of JPX921 Forged or i210 heads, 4-G, but I'm having trouble finding someone to buy them from.

 

Can I get a list of online golf shops that sell iron heads? All I've been able to find is TXG for those 2 irons, and I already contacted Discount Dan's, and that was a no-go.

Nobody is going to sell you new heads from the major OEM's.

Out of curiosity, what are you getting from the heads that you can’t get from the manufacturer? Most major OEMs have pretty much any shaft, and you’re searching for current model irons.

I already have some shafts set aside for them, and I want to build them myself.

TXGstore.com does, so that statement has already been disproved. i'm sure there must be others, too.

Do you think someone out there is going to sell you brand new Ping or Mizuno heads at a discount when people are waiting months for a set?

pretty sure TXG is just pulling apart a set of Mizunos or Pings and selling you the heads.

Sorry, it was like $2800 for heads and a set of clubs from Maple Hill for $1200. With shafts and grips, even if I didn't want them. 

 

<edit> I didn't price full clubs from TXG, they might be totally reasonable.

Look at New Level Golf.  They have excellent components, and as far as I  know are the only one of the 3-4 DTC brands that sell heads-only.

lol, $231 for "head only" when the entire complete club is $175., terrible example. No large retailer is allowed to sell "heads only", if they do, they for the most part have to be a builder and still charge full MSRP (or more in your example). 

 

If your goal is to save some coin, order a new set with popular shafts (assuming no upcharge), ask for them uncut with grips in the box. Pull the shafts and sell then as uncut pulls to recoup the most money. Can easily net $200+ doing this. I keep the grips since there is such little margin on those. If you are looking for heads only because you don't have the means to pull shafts, well you should rethink building your own set IMHO.

Just a thought, but can’t you buy a full set, pull the shafts and sell em here and then put your shaft in the head?

I'm thinking that even if you find someone who will sell you heads only, they won't discount off whatever the price is with a stock shaft?  Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I guess might be the case.

You guys looking at the prices in CAD on txgstore? I don't think prices are in USD by default on their site.

yeah, it's 1100 or so USD for some i210 heads. I didn't convert the 1800CAD to USD for the mizuno heads, though.
