With a name like Superbrit I'm going to guess it's somewhere in the British Isles.  I've started searching for "Golf courses with old mansions" but there are a whole lot that come up and so far nothing that looks like this.

 

How about naming the country it's in as a hint?

It’s in China. I think.   But I can’t recall the name without googling it.  Japan has some similar roads. But I don’t think the mountains match.

Correct. It's shown in a Range Rover commercial as well. A different view than what is normally shown for it.

 

 

 

ETA - It's the crazy winding roadway in China to Tianmen Mountain to the Stairway to Heaven (Heavens Gate) a/k/a 999 Steps. Here is the view many people know it buy.

Not sure where it is, but last night Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds was on cable. This looks a lot like the arch in one of the scenes (where "the Bear Jew" beats a Nazi officer with a baseball bat).

Hmm. I’ll research that.  I saw the movie when it came out. But only once.  So I’m due to see it again.  I don’t think it was in there. But I’ll see.

Yep.  You got it !  About 10-15 minutes from me.    You can walk right under it for pictures and/or picnic on the bank of the river.  Connected the mountain folks in Nc/sc and surrounding areas to Greenville city in the 1800s. Essentially bringing them out of isolation.  Not used by cars now , but still standing solid.
