I’m curious of the new LP. 😳

Same. I know some folks who used them liked the performance but weren't a fan of the look & the build, lots of paint chipping, that sort of thing. With the hybrid irons really growing in popularity I'll be interested to see what they roll out if they decide on a newer version of the LP.

Same here.  I wasn’t a fan of the finish either. I prefer the dull matte finish, but that’s just me. I played mine but not very much, little enough that I dumped them. Just never gelled with them. Easy to hit though!  Unfortunately, didn’t get along with them as well as the Cleveland offerings from the past. I’m a die hard W/S fan so I’m curious on the upcoming line!

We can all agree Wilson makes great irons. I cannot figure out why they can’t produce a great driver. I’ve used this hybrid since it came out, about 5 years I guess and it is honestly the best club in my bag. It’s hot, it’s consistent. It’s feels and sounds perfect and sits so good. The adapter is awesome. But every driver they come out with is a dud.

I still own a 3 hybrid, 3&5 wood in the FG line. Great sticks. Even liked the driver.

People sometimes bash Wilson Staff stuff for not being very good, their Drivers and irons are great.

I just put a D9 driver and 3 wood in play last week. Shop credit, so why not. 13% off too boot, big pro shop sale till Jan 1st for the upcoming holidays! It kicked my SIM2 MAX to the corner. Just as long, and at times longer, and feels better to me. Also is more forgiving. My son, who’s a die hard TM guy, was impressed! Got the 3&5 wood too.Son hit the 5 wood several times and was very impressed but WILL NOT give up his TM stuff! 🤦‍♂️

How about the three piece ball? Any new bags?

New three piece urethane ball to replace vacancy by outgoing Duo Professional. Believe name was "Triad" or similar.

Launchpad iron was definitely cleaned up. Rear had a stepped-out muscle bar styling, like a well-fed T-100 iron.  Hopefully they've sorted the paint chipping issues.

Irons yes. Drivers… debatable. I have a D7 right now that I was about to give up on but some lead tape made a world of difference.

I 100% agree with that statement.  I tried one based on the MGS test results the year it came out as it performed fairly well.  But at 45" it swung waaay too light and some lead tape totally transformed it.

I didn’t go quite as heavy as that, but yeah some more weight makes a world of difference.

Did you use lead tape for better feel or to tame a slice? Where did you use the tape on the club? I have the D100 driver. Overall, I have been very happy with it. But, the "right light" is very light and I tend to fade it a bit too much.

I see the answer above, lol

That D100 was a beast of a driver. I loved it!

The Staff blades are the nicest blades I've ever played and the V6's were just as good.
