Vice Golf - never again

Ordered the buy 5 and get 1 dozen during their Black Friday Sale.  Never received an email receipt so I call a few days later asking for one.  Still never received one.  Shipment arrived today with only 5.  Customer Service told me it wasn't on the order.  I was told I can return if I send them $20 for return label since they are overseas.

Dispute the charge.  No receipt from eCommerce is a big no no.

They'd be so much better off just sending you the dozen, hopefully they do so.

 

I tried Vice and moved on pretty quick.  The Pro lime looked nice and played ok, but it's durability was the worst of any ball I've ever tried.

If you ordered them from the Black Friday portion of the site, the additional balls would be part of your cart for $0.00. I think if you went manually to the product page and bought 5 dozen it didn't get added which is an oversight on their part and they should send you the balls.

 

As far as a receipt goes, they definitely send an invoice (I'm looking at mine) so you probably just put the wrong email in that one is not on them

That would be crappy design and deceptive practices at worst. Any sale item should have a cart reflective of the sale no matter how you navigated the site.

Pretty crappy of them, but makes it easy for me and friends to never look their way again.

Not that it should matter if on receipt or not, but did you check your spam/junk mail folders?  I know over half the stuff I order ends up with the order email in a junk folder even from websites that don't always go to my junk folder.

Played them for a season and ordered some for giveaways... ehh... imo, It's better to go to Snell as a DTC. I'll stick with 1's. Snell MTB & 1,1x are pretty comparable.

Feel bad for you but I don’t mail for them? I live in Fort Myers and will give you an Example where I can buy them at a discount at the pro golf shop where I shop.There Drive ball sells new at $14.99. All of there balls from Vice are discounted.

I use the Vice Pro Soft - never had any issues with them as a company and love the ball.  Have also ordered golf towels, beanies, etc from them with no issue.

 

Sounds like you just had a bad experience but that is BS that they won't just send you the balls.

 

Not golf related but I had the same situation with Cotopaxi lately.  Free water bottle if you spent $100.  I spent $100 on the dot and no bottle delivered with my order.  Called customer service and they said you had to add the bottle to the cart and it would have shown for $0.  They shipped me the bottle for free that day to make it right.

The Vice Pro Plus is a great ball.  Really long, good stopping power and feels great off the putter.  Only complaint is that the durability of the paint isn't as good as some other premium balls.  Bought a few dozen personalized balls as gifts for family members, and didn't have any problems as far as customer service goes.  Bummer to hear about your experience.

I have a few dozen left of the Pro plus. Good ball but the durability complaints are 100% correct. Scuff up a couple a round.

I have. Not bad at all. I didn’t notice the durability issue with that one but honestly didn’t pay much attention to it. Still have 3 sleeves so will try to remember to keep an eye on it.

Imo the Pro Zero feels horrible. I game the Pro/Pro Plus (depending on how bad I'm swinging on the day lol) and I picked up a Pro Zero on a whim. Couldn't lose it fast enough.

On my first box of them and I have had good luck with the pro plus and they seem to be holding well. Have no experience with customer service. Ball feels and plays good for me. However, the Snell MTB is still my favorite budget friendly ball.
