I can tell you that when I put them on my Fujikura Pro irons, they were probably the tightest fitting ferrules I've ever used. But I just pushed them on with the clubhead, no issues.

Wow... all it takes is 0.370 reamer if they're so tight he can't put them on. Find someone else, that guy is a hack if he breaks ferrules!

You can also put the ferrules in hot water for Bout 5 mins. It'll help them slide up

PXG irons have .370 hosels, which is why they use collared ferrules and a shaft cap to center the shaft. 

I’ve reshafted about 10 sets of PXGs. I have 2 sets myself, both with BB&F ferrules. 
 

I use the “Shim T” from Golfworks. It’s essentially a .355 to .370 brass shim. It does a great job centering the ferrule. I also use a small spring clamp shown to keep the ferrule and the head together while curing. Not a required step, but it help to keep the shaft oriented in the head when moving from the vice to the curing rack.

They will have them again. It just takes them a little while to restock, sometimes. Check the website periodically. 
 

I have a set of irons with those same ferrules. Love them. I also have a set with “fire on high” ferrules, which you can see in my previous post. When I ordered the black/white/silver ones you want, they were out of the black/silver/red ones I wanted. I checked back about two weeks later and they were back in stock.

Hey guys, question for you Ping and Titleist guys.. sorry if I missed it somewhere in this thread.
 

Im probably overthinking it, but every time I do my vokeys and glides, I hear the slightest high pitch vibration when dropping the wedges on grass. You don’t feel it when hitting a ball, but it’s there, not solid as much as my ocd needs. My Mizuno and Bridgestone wedges never have this problem, which I assume is because it doesn’t use collared ferrules from the factory..

 

Any pointers on filling the collar void when installing these?

I just use a little extra epoxy. Seems to work okay.

Not the best install you've ever seen but was my first time putting together a full set from scratch. Still have to turn them down but love the way they turned out

You can scrape the excess epoxy off the hosels with a flathead scredriver and/or a blade, and when you turn the ferrules down flush and hit them with acetone much of that goes away and looks nice.

 

I will say that I learned not to use black epoxy with light-colored BB&F ferrules due to how noticeable it is as you can see. I have a white/clear epoxy from Loctite I use now for anything that isnt a black ferrule so it doesnt show in that small joint.

Thanks! I wanted them to semi-match the shafts on the irons. I try to just put randoms on my wedges to have a little fun with it and confirm what club I have in my hand with the black wedges where the lofts are blacked out.
