Doing well…played maybe 3-4 Rds and also hit off my mat weekly. Barely can tell the finish has changed. I would compare these to the Cobra black finish they had on the Forged Tec and Mb/Cb’s. I’ll get some pics tomorrow.

My bf has the Gen 4 black irons and after 5 rounds they don’t have a scratch and look brand new! Seems to hold up well

Here you go…in the bag, what they look like after 3-4 Rd’s and hitting 1-2x a week off my mat. Then hit 10 balls now and cleaned that club to show “wear”.

DLC finishes are very resilient.

I have the 4i Gen4 in black, I've been gaming it for over a month, 5 rounds a week plus range time and it looks brand new.

Well i played a quick 9 Saturday with them and 36 on sunday.

I think they are going back they performed okay but they are  little to hard for my taste coming from 921 HM and my TM stealths. I can work both TM & Mizzunos even tho both of those are game improvement irons but these just want to go straight. But thats just me

Interesting.  I have the 0211DC and I think they feel just as soft as Mizuno's forgings.  Shaft and ball play a big part in this.  Not looking at the new 0211 XCOR I was just chiming in on the feel.  They do look nice though.

Another round with my Xtreme 0211 Xcor2’s….and can’t say enough good things about them. These clubs are literally point and shoot for me with a halfway decent swing. So so happy I decided to get them when they came out.

Any additional reviews of these?  Comparisons with Ping G or I series?  How’s the feel in comparison to forged?  I’ve loved the Ping G series in the past and had a great demo session with the prior model 0211DCs. Struggling with my 0311STs at the moment and these are on my radar. Would love to read more feedback.

Can only give my feedback on these, but in the last several years I’ve played several forged clubs (Gen3 p’s, Srixon Z565’s, 919 forged, Forged Tec, etc. and now playing these new Xcor2.

The feel vs forged…not as soft as my Gen3 P models, but still feel very very good for a cast model. 
forgiveness is on a whole other level Vs my P’s…they just want to go straight wherever I aim them at and the dispersion front to back on Mishits is great too. 
Pxg really did an EXCELLENT job with these clubs.

I’m not a PXG hater…I’ve played the Gen1, Og 0211’s, Gen3 and now Xcor2 irons and have also dabbled in the Gen2, Proto, Gen4 and now Gen5 driver. They have actually gotten better over each model in both performance and looks. Now if you want to talk commercials then yes absolutely a Hater…😂, can’t stand when I hear Ol Bobs voice.
 

But I can get over that when I’m hitting fairways with my driver and hitting greens with my irons 😬.

Sorry, was just being sarcastic...I know you're a believer...Was just poking fun at the haters and their beliefs PXG doesn't make great equipment...Guess I need to polish my routine a little bit more...

So, jumping right in....I purchased 6-PW 0211 XCOR2 on the 5 club deal. They exceed my expectations in everyway.

1. I'm happy with the looks and feel, that says quite a bit I think coming from Mizuno MP-60 and Titleist 735 CM. The feel is very good, and the head shapes are appealing and not as large visually as I expected. The way PXG handled the topline is perfect for this type of club

2. Turf interaction (on the field of play) is excellent. The slight beveling on the back sole works IMO. 

3. The offset is not as prominant as I thought it would be, but I only go to the 6 iron.

4. Shaft options were more than adequate for me. I wanted to go steel and lighter. I find the KBS Tour Lite a great fit for the heads, and me.

5. Swing weight- I asked for D2 and got D2.

6. Oh, just to add one more thing- the Xtreme Dark 0311 forged wedge I picked up is a really good wedge. An excellent wedge in fact.

 

My experience was so good, I just added a 0211 driver and 0211 7 wood from PXG to my bag with the MRC S+ option. Considering I started with a plan to build a Sunday Bag only, at these prices I can mix and match to make up my 8 -9 club set.

Another round today with mine. Played a best ball scramble and these clubs like to just work for me. Even my bad swings today weren’t that bad at all. My only thing is I’m kinda wanting graphite shafts for my long term future. So gotta decide what I want to do with that 🤷🏻‍♂️

Got fitted Thurs, and got my shipping confirmation today!  5-LW extreme dark with MMT shafts should be here Friday!  

 

Like someone else said in this thread I am putting together a carry bag with 10-12 clubs.  Also ordered the 0211 driver and 7W. For 12 clubs looks like gapping will be perfect with Driver, 7W, 5-LW, Putter.  For 10 I will just pull one of the wedges, and the 5 iron.  Bought the grey and black Sunday Golf El Camino bag. Clubs should look really cool in it.

Looks like the black is $119/ea vs $99.  +$20/ea... For 7 irons +$140.

Plus the $60 to ship. Kinda bummed they discontinued The free shipping and 60 day money back guarantee.  I was going to take a flier on them but I bought and returned 4 other PXG sets that didn’t work for me and had to take the shipping and restocking fees.

Dude don't blindly buy online again when you've never gotten along with their clubs.  Do a fitting & if you get good results, buy.  If you don't, don't.
