Just maybe he was referencing Monohan? I have no dog in this fight but I could see that being the case considering it wasn't until after Jay flip flopped that Rahm changed his mind on everything.

Having been to Mexico a few times, my guess is that its easier to happen than you might think. Could be produce getting washed with water that they all ate, could be ice cubes - could be just about anything.

You may have preferred the tour just lay down and let Saudi Arabia have its way

 

But given the absurdity of the money they continue to flush with no horizon on profitability, Jay and crew have pivoted reasonably well

 

The only way Rahm would leave is to get half a billion dollars 

 

That means that 600MM was his price to leave the tour

 

And that is an hysterical indictment of how much he actually wanted to go to liv 🤣

No doubt, could easily be actually contaminated food from bad water or improper storage. But norovirus is the most common cause of these things.  Often because a person in the food chain is contagious and contaminates everything they touch.

Isn't that basically what everyone is saying they should have done because the LIV model is trash and will never work, PGA players (the bulk) will play for legacy? If we hold that to be truth, then Jay didn't have to do any pivoting, and just perhaps if he didn't pivot Rahm's number would not have been attainable? All speculation but it's a decent thought process.

I would say that those of us who aren't interested in watching the actual golf should stay out of the Mayakoba thread. I, for one, would be considered anti-LIV and I intend to stay out of that thread. 

 

Let's try to be adults and keep our debates about LIV in here, and leave the tournament thread to those who are actually interested and watching it. 

 

I think that should be a standing rule for the LIV tournament threads. There's a lot to talk about with LIV, but since so little of it has to do with actual golf, the LIV fans should have a place to talk about the golf without interruption.

And those same guys who were praising AK last week will now be making excuses as why he isn't on the PGA. Like someone in the other thread said....LIV shows too much golf and not enough 20 minute sponsor commercials. Can't handle that in a golf broadcast.

Nope, the majority of people who play golf and are new to the game, have plenty of time on their hands, need exercise, and have plenty of disposable income.
