LOL.  i got a single club once in a box just like that.  I messaged the seller saying whiskey tango foxtrot dude.  I was then told to get over my box fetish.  Figured that was well played so I left appropriate feedback for all to see.

I video taped it as it was being brought in by Postal service person. They had it for over 3 weeks trying to figure out how to transport it to me. That whole time the seller said i had to take it up with USPS as he did his job in shipping the item. Mind you they were counterfeit and so ebay issued me a refund. The seller had the audacity to say I was taking food away from his kids when I gave him a heads up about trying to sell counterfeit stuff online. Felt bad for the guy but sure enough, they were up for sale again no sooner than the two days it took me to ship them back using a standard shipping box. 😂😂

Seller never took action. PayPal closed. Hopefully he’s not allowed to even log into WRX anymore.

either way there’s no excuse for the lack of communication.

 

and it wouldn’t be the first time a seller made up a random story just to try to cover their tracks.

These people make me sick.  I'm a Miami Dolphins fan and bought a jersey from a fellow member on a Miami Dolphins forum I'm on  (he had an ebay account and I bought it through there).  He was asking $50 and the jersey was very lightly worn.  As soon as it arrived I knew it was counterfeit.  I have several authentic team-issued Dolphins jerseys so I am very familiar with how the real ones should feel and stretch  (as well as the quality of stitching).  I first contacted the member and asked if he knew it was fake.  His reply was, "If you wanted to buy a $200 jersey you would have already done so by now.".  I explained I was never paying that much for a jersey because :

1.)  I can get 100% authentic team issued (not game worn yet as most of the ones I have do not have numbers or names sewn on yet) for about $40-$50 each (the throwback are more expensive) .  I only wanted his because I needed the number that was on it.  (I refuse to wear somebody else's name on my back so I want these with the number of my choice with no nameplate until I can get my name sewn on it).   and 

 

2.) His reasoning is flawed because it is illegal to sell counterfeit stuff.  Just because the jersey "still very nice"  (his words)  doesn't make it any less fake.  I reported him to ebay and even told ebay I wasn't sure if he even knew he was selling fake stuff.

 

I again told him the jersey was "as fake as a 6 dollar bill".

 

Counterfeit merchandise stinks.

Stinger83 isn't banned and I see he has an Excellent reputation in the Forum.  My guess is that once the buyer filed the claim with PayPal and brought 

the dispute in the public forum he decided to let it go and run it's course through PayPal . 

 

Not my style but that's my guess.

 I read the painful pages of this debacle and never said I was giving him the " benefit of the doubt" and I'm baffled how someone that is Banned it's not an immediate ban 

and not listed under their user name and in their profile.  I can message the guy if I want and that doesn't look like a Ban.

You said he has an excellent reputation on the forum and implied that maybe he was put off by it going public and having a PayPal case, and that’s why he went silent.

 

when, in fact, he was silent prior to the thread being started.

 

and, more likely, he’s silent because all of the evidence points against him and he is in fact in the wrong and has no ability to say otherwise. 
 

a legit member would have always responded to this in one way as the seller:

 

With a big apology and acceptance of wrongdoing and either an immediate refund or a quick shipping of the product w maybe a partial refund for the trouble 

 

what this seller did was double down and not take any responsibility: “can’t you see I was on a trip”

 

that’s the tell tale sign of someone you can’t trust to do transactions with

Gwrxmod banned the account. Those restrictions prevent any logins and accessing the site. 
 

I moved the account to banned to clarify the account status.

Gosh I'm sorry that this went the way it did. Is there a way to report scammers in this forum? There is someone responding to WTBs that has attempted scams on me and others, don't want to see anyone get burned.

When you read/open a private message, there is a menu in the message that let's you report the message.  Best and easiest way to handle this.
