Thanks - but I've never had a shoe with the Free sole - what it's like?  What's the balance between flexibility and support/stability?

More flex than stable, imo.  But it is certainly doesn’t lack stability

That’s what’s crazy about feet. I thought they were the worst shoe I’ve ever worn and never had worse hot spots on all areas of my foot and blisters on my heel from a shoe

I have a pair of TW15 and love them. So like you say, to each their own! I'd definitely go for a retro TW15.

When they debuted, they were the best shoe ever made. If you can look past the fact your foot was about 400° hotter than the outside temperature when you took them off.

I felt it on my black 14s but really wasn't something I noticed. Comfort and stability made them hard to beat.

I'm pumped for the tw13 re release these were my favorite shoes. I don't remember my feet being crazy hot in them but I do remember them being the worst smelling shoes ever so breathability is the only issue. This is the best sole on any nike golf shoe by a long shot imo.

This assumes they are using the same leather.  Nike has really adopted using a thinner leather with a heavy coating of plastic and stamping on a leather texture.  Also low wear parts like the heel tab and swoosh are completely plastic now.  Even the supposed "premium" sneakers are no different to not much better.

Yeah, and looks like they didn’t do anything with ventilation to remedy that…

if it’s the same upper, 10/10 on ease of cleaning, keeping moisture out and sealing moisture in. 
 

God I hope they do a retro ‘15 and actually do Flyknit vs the heavier knit material.

They were a pretty wide toebox, easily wider than a wide in any of the ZIT/%s. Not as wide as True OG wide, but they were roomy.

The catalog has a wide version. The "rep" that said Aug release for TW13 and no wide is obviously clueless since they are releasing TW13 in 4 days time.

Believe they will do a Masters retro of the TW 13, the black version, and another colorway (blue?) towards the end of the year.

 

TW13 definitely has a wide toe box and traction is amazing. 
 

They definitely dont breath so make sure to wear the white ones on the ridiculously hot days!

 

Clean up is a breeze and durability is great.

They're not on Nike Canada. The rep we got the info from is in Canada and the info was straight from their database.

 

It's possible they won't be available before August in Canada but they will be available in USA starting February 16th.
