I'm glad you like them.  I had a laugh when there was a grid with 200 Hit Season in one row and 100 RBI Season in a column and for the corner in common, I put Kirby Puckett and he was only 0.5%!  That was great for my rarity score, but I was greatly offended that he was chosen by so few people.  Haha.

Did someone say something about cruddy parking?  This was a couple years ago in front of our house.  I put the bins out the night before and this is what I saw when I came out the next morning.  The bins notwithstanding, hardly anyone pays attention to that red zone.

This weekend I will be starting the 2023 NFL Picks thread. A group of us have been doing this for a number of years now and it has proved to be a good time. There is ZERO money involved. All you can win are bragging rights. You can't lose a penny.  We will be picking three games weekly using the Vegas Line that I provide on Monday mornings. 

 

If you want a spot please make a post in the thread stating.... ......" I'm In !" 

 

The NFL Picks contest will be run this year by the same co-commissioners that ran our recent PGA TOUR Majors contest.

he’s  done ok as far as for a first go mostly by himself.   Definitely made more than his friends working fast food jobs 😂. Not accounting for me offering him the land for nothing ….But he’s working harder too.  And a training runner on top of that.  ( I’m a proud papa if you can’t tell). 
 

Sadly no.  I’m mostly relegated to a once a week golfer. Saturday mornings.  It will turn back to more time soon though. He’s going to start driving ( has a permit ) and school will be back in session.  So I should regain my afternoons , which will mean I can pick and choose some morning or afternoons off. As it is I have to  cart him every afternoon to a workout for basketball , track or cross country depending on season. So I have no choice but to work all mornings to make room for that.   But it will get better as he gains freedom.  🤣.  His war-chest for a vehicle is growing.  I won’t be able to stop him much longer from growing up.  ( as I pretend it hasn’t already happened).  

Will he be driving the Shelby?

Our bear population here is quite healthy. You see them out and about all hours of the day. For some reason they are attracted to our back deck. We don't have anything out there that should attract them, food or bird seed, but they are up there regularly. I have a black garden hose rolled in a circle right outside my front door. One of the current cubs likes to lay in the middle of it. Not sure why. We have to peak out the door to make sure he and momma aren't right there. A lot of coyotes as well. Unfortunately, none of the wildlife seems to be able to scare off the tourists.
