Softest feeling "X" ball

Pretty straight forward, which of the "X' balls has the softest feel off irons, wedges, and putter?  ProV1x, TP5x,Bridgestone BX, Chrome Soft X, or Srixon XV?

 

My sense is that they're likely all pretty similar distance wise,  I'm just looking for the softest feel out of that group.

They're all really close but I'd say the Tour B X is the softest especially off wedges and putter. 

 

But honestly they're all really close just depending which area you want them to be soft.

you forgot to mention the z star diamond which is like the prov1x...it's softest off wedge and putter and the long game starts to feel like the other X's

Check out the ball test for compression numbers on that  S P Y website.

I just checked that site, TP5x is the lowest compression of that group I believe.

Latest BX is remarkably soft compared to the rest of this segment. New XV is out soon so worth a sleeve.

Haven’t tried the new V1 X, but the Bridgestone Tour BX is the softest.

ProV1X is the softest feeling of the X balls IMHO.

XV also moving to a three-piece if I'm not mistaken? So, similar to the MTB-X anyway. Not sure what that means feel-wise, but I always found MTB-X to be a softer x-ball.

If you're referring to the new V1x then I agree.  Huge difference in feel from the 21 to 23 V1x.  The 23 versions feels really good for an "X" ball.  I'm really impressed with it.

CSX feels soft to me for an X ball.  Especially off the irons.  23 V1x feels a good bit softer to me than prior gen, but still not as soft as CSX (played them both today)

I really enjoy the Tour B X as well. Particularly off the putter. I do game a Newport 2, but the BX feels almost like it sticks to the face for a split second then rolls forward.

Not all X balls are created equal. Some of the X balls spin more than their non X counterparts, and some spin less. You need to identify what you are looking for out of the ball besides feel.

 

That being said, the Diamond is a really good blend of the XV and Z Star with a great feel.

very interesting post, i just did a google search on wednesday for this and sent to my friend, haha. I've been messing around with most of the balls mentioned here.

• Started with the TP5x, felt fairly firm to me, clicky on the putt stick.
• I never got along with the Srixon, not sure why, just didn't "click" with it.
• The B X was my unicorn, really difficult to get a hold of, then decided it was the ball for me.
• A friend gave me some Chrome soft, they're pretty decent and i'd say mid firm. I bought the X LS and really liked the distance, but again, hard and clicky, so i don't prefer them.
• Recently played the Pro V1x and so far i need to say it's the softest and most consistent ball. I hate to say it, because it's a titleist, but credit where credit's due.
• You might consider the Wilson staff ball. i really enjoyed the feel off the driver and soft feel all around. It's not an X ball and it was shorter than the X LS, but feel wise, it's the softest tour ball i've experienced.

 

Currently on the Pro V1x until further notice. I played 9-9 with the V1X and the B X , the pro v was the winner for me.

I've also kept the same ball in play for 36 holes, which is either coincidence or saying something for the forgiveness of the pro V1x.

 

For feel rating soft to firm, I would say: 

Wilson Staff > Pro V1x > Chrome Soft X > Srixon > Tour B X > TP5x

 

I've found these 'ratings' of compression don't seem to relate to real feel, just read an article as well on the new e9 where a certain other website states their compression testing came out higher than the manufacturer's tested rating by a difference of around 10. Everyone's perception will be different as well, again based on putter face type, iron style and material, driver materials. (The Cobra F9 is nice and soft, where the Rogue ST is a brick. cavity foam vs muscle backs and inserts vs face milled).
