Titleist 2023 irons

I currently game the latest t200 irons (back side and all!)  but can definitely see the 150’s making the bag by the end of the year.
As always, looking forward to hitting the new line when available

It just depends if you want to wait another season for clubs. Even if you place or by August 1st, they probably will not ship until late September.

I can understand why you would say they based on previous release.  But that was 2021.

This release will be much different and sooner.

Agreed. The TSR driver line delivered really quickly. I was fit about 3 weeks before official release and received my driver a couple days before release.

to my eye the zx7 looks smaller then the T200 and way better

Zx7 top line is thick. It's super squared off which makes it look really big. Largest iron in the category.

T200 top line is bevelled. Makes it look thinner at address. Blade lengths comparable.

But the soles are way different. ZX7 has a proper players sole. T200 has a fat sole.

Single piece forging vs thin trampoline players distance face.

Completely different categories fitting a completely different golfer. Not even sure why someone would be comparing them.

In this thread I’ve read couple times how pretty much everything everyone is looking in an is the Srixon irons (745-Zx7) why have I not taken plastic of my set then.

Yep we hosted a fitting at our course in October. All 5 orders got shipped within 5 days.

I have my fitting for the new irons this month so I’m anxiously hoping for a similar timeframe!

I didn’t know if anyone else credited you or not as first to have the T150 info!!

Well Done!!

I bought a set of t100’s (5-P) back in March and based on pics dont see a reason to be too tempted to swap out. However the t200 4 iron is in trouble if the t150 is a better feeling option.

Any ideas on release timing? Will be the first legit contender to my i230s after testing some T100s out recently. The feeling isn't as soft as my other JDM clubs (I mean, it ain't more mushy than my Kyoeis), but something about hitting them was addicting! The i230s feel pretty powerful and are the most consistent clubs I've ever gamed, so will be tough to beat. But the smaller footprint of the T100s were surprisingly forgiving and kept my right miss at bay somehow....

If it's late August. Like most Titleist releases, there is usually an initial rush of orders and pre-orders for the average Joe are lowest priority and pushed out a few extra weeks. They fit their staffers and preferred accounts well before the preorder date so there are literally thousands of orders placed before the general public can even place a pre-order.  Not saying one wouldn't be able to get their irons in August, but I would be mentally prepared for it to by more of an October/November delivery depending on components.

With Presale EST 8/3, does that mean you quint be able to get fit before then. Booked a fitting for mid July specifically for these.

Also had anyone orders the current 100s  in the last 4 weeks and received them already. Just thinking if you order a set of current lineup if they would get here before presale of new ones.

Unless your fitting is with an actual Titleist rep, I doubt it’s the new irons.  Most accounts won’t get the new fitting heads until August is whst i understand.  But I’d check with whoever your fitting is scheduled with to confirm.

I heard a significant boost in price is to be expected in this year lineup.... anyone heard the same from reliable source too ?

I was almost about to order T300 for 800€ a few weeks ago and thought that would be stupid so close to the new irons launch.... but now, if the price is x1.5 the 2021 versions, I am not so sure ^^

Can't wait to see if they can knock the 770's out of the bag. Only thing missing was the distance.

Don't want to disappoint, but I don't think there is going to be much in terms of distance upgrades.

Funny, I just bought T300 7-iron to PW.  I think they look fine at address, and they feel find with anything near centered contact.  I had bought G425 7-iron to PW earlier this spring, and the feel and flight of the T300 is measurably better.  How the back of a club looks is not important to me.  If it was, I would be playing my hickory irons more often.

I hope that the lofts stay the same as the T300.  My fear is that the T350 lofts stray toward the T400.

Had about a 7 minute window to hit  and visually compare the new irons

T100, not much of a departure from the 2021 interns of looks and feel.  Pretty much the same iron.

T150, Slightly wider sole and a little more meaty on the back toe side, little thicker top line, pretty much head size heel to toe is the same.  Definitely more friendly on toe side hits, feel is still very good.

T200, much improved in the look and feel on the back.  Doesn't have that plastic ,tinny sound when you tap the back plate with your finger.  Feel is much improved, but I equate that to the sound being better.

T350, from the back side much, much improved.  As far as any difference in playability and looks, I didn't find much in it.  Just a very solid game improvement iron.

Something that struck me is the the Titleist fitter said he won't be surprised if a lot of people use the T350 instead of the usual T200  with a graphite shaft as a driving iron type.  Launches very easy.

As for me, I love my T100S but get punished pretty severely with a toe miss and I think with the little wider sole and the extra mass out on the toe of the T150 is going to be a little more forgiving and help out on that toe miss.  Probably will make that change.

That’s it I’m ordering all my stuff now. They will get here in August. Then I can order new irons in the winter.
