Starting this thread after seeing @Kenny Lee Puckett post about rep meeting last week. The new wedges are what I am most interested in.

They may not be, however if they do I think it will have a new name. It's not beeen very popular, but I think it makes sense in the line up to have something to cater to that player. The nearest equivalent would be the PXG T that has been discontinued.

Pretty sure it has been mentioned that a new driver was coming out. Not a replacement but an additional line. i series coming back maybe ?

I messed around with the i525's today for the first time in a long time. They are still the best looking irons Ping has released, especially in the address position. I hit them with Recoil 780 F4 and they perform so well. I just could never get used to the feel. I'm sure I've said it before, but if they can make the i530 feel better, I could see myself gaming them.

yep, I am too. I've been with the same Glide for enough years now I'm ready for a change. And we are getting one. 👍

I hit them recently too. Worst feeling club I’ve ever tried. My fitter said they are an “angry” club lol

Well I was going to break down and buy my 3rd 430 driver if the year and 210 irons, but I’ll wait now probably. I didn’t think they would have a new driver yet.

I hate when you break down at the 3rd buying of something. Its like... not the 1st... not the 2nd... but the 3rd time at buying the item where im like damnit ya got me again!

I would love to find a set of new i210 heads somewhere. Should have bought them while they were still available.

If you got a serial number, replacements can be bought 2 at a time for i200’s. Unfortunately not i210s though.

Absolutely. 
Stealth or raw glide 4.0’s or glide 5.0 with all the various finishes need to be offered with their next release of gear. 
I know that the stats show the hydropearl is a great thing (can’t say Ive noticed any playable difference) but they really do shine up into your eyes after the finish wears away.

I am not a big raw wedge proponent but the icrossover black finish  would be enticing on wedges and irons.

One of the harshest clubs I have owned that pretends to be forged.  But they fly high, straight, go a country mile, and spin.  Plus, they are one of the only companies that does offset well.  TM, Callaway, Cobra, and Titleist all suffer from the same fate.  They don't make their blade lengths long enough for the amount of offset they put on their clubs so it ends up looking like a near 90* edge when transitioning from the blade to the hosel.  I know I am going to get some insane flack for this, but go look at the Apex Pro, Cobra King Tec, Titleist T300, and P790 and put them all down at address.  Then do the same for the i525.  You will see what I mean.

 

As for the topics at hand, if Ping could make the i530 feel good it would probably be the best selling player's distance iron of that release cycle.  They did drastically improve the feel and sound in the G430 drivers.  I just wish they would fill the heads with something, anything....to make it feel better.  Even the i230 to me sounds and feels clunky compared to other releases.  Also count me in for a Black Glide 4.0/5.0.  The Stealth 2.0 was the best wedge series I have ever played, it barely showed any wear after 2 seasons, and spun plenty fine.  Surely the engineers at Ping can figure out how to make a black hydropearl, even it drops spin by 100 RPMs, that's not enough to make a difference that could not be accounted for on strike alone for the average player.

I mean the i525's are the best irons I've ever hit.  I know some think they can feel bad, but when hit well I think they feel fine (not forged delicious, but solid), however, when I clank one off the grooves and it flies straight and far, I really don't care how they feel, lol.

With new Blue Print coming, Ping has done what everyone has done except Taylormade, that’s flood their own iron line and trying to figure out what goes where. TM is usually the one doing this, but because they are Marketing company selling golf clubs they have done fairly well. Ping could end up having
