I have to hand it to Callaway for creating better drivers year after year.  I said earlier this year, that PTD was hands down the best driver I've ever played (for me).  Its looooong.  I said the same about Rogue Max LS because it was very forgiving and quick.  Hated the Epic sound...but another great driver.   If they say, this is our best driver, part of me knows, "of course they will say that" but, I believe them bc they have been creating better drivers pretty much every cycle.  Now, if they raise the price by $100, I'll be the first to complain and still one of the first lined up to try it.

You never eally know until the tou rpros have them in their hands for a period of time but I am stoked. I have not played a Cally wood in a long time and it will be first on my list to try for sure...

If it’s an improvement for tour pros and takes away help from an area I need it, no thanks.  
 

All of the OEMs are good at telling us what’s better, not so much at what was traded off to achieve it.   That’s left as an exercise for us, or good reviewers.

Wish they would make a milled line again ala the tour series protype. Seems like they are just recycling ideas at this point and overcharging. $400 for an insert cast putter is just way too much IMO.

I’ve hit the new ball and seen the putter line…the new ball line will be fantastic and something they’ve been missing it’s ridiculous how they can make it that much better…the putter line will be fantastic as well very cool story from the loads of data and feedback they have received from tour.

I have tried most balls on the market. I can’t get the chrome soft x to stop or check. Chrome soft I can and almost any other premium ball. I wanted to love it. But don’t get good results. 
I get decent results from chrome soft, but quality control wasn’t as good as prov1 or prov1 x

Hit the new Apex MB & CB yesterday. Clubs are awesome. Look great at address. Surprising amount of forgiveness in the CB given its size. The 10 & 11 irons look pretty awesome in the bag as well I must say.

I'd love to see what Callaway does come out with fairway wise next year though after hitting the new Apex UW, I absolutely LOVE it, and I wonder if there might be a 3 wood that'd be coming out next year that could take that spot in the bag.

Ok, this is MY personal opinion on the smoke reference: it's going to be a special version of the Paradym irons, only in black/smoke like Callaway has done so many times in the past. Standard Apex is still out until sometime in Jan-24.
