I'm surprised those m6 woods have as much sticking power in his bag as they have, especially considering how much he swaps his driver. Also really surprised he didn't go for a Vokey 60 considering how popular those are on tour.

tried the putter but it felt too 'plastic-like' for the high price. And might I add on a personal note - I find JR the most boring and least-interesting player in the Universe.

JR's always been a C-taper guy.  Seeing him switch over the KBS Tour 125 S+ is an interesting move.

Those cobra irons are the most underrated product this year.

What won out for you? I had the G410 crossover for awhile and the ZX won out over it a season and a half ago.  Been wanting to see how the two newest offerings from Ping and Srixon compares now.

I totally agree and have the CBs in 3-PW with PX 6.5 and I really like them, I reckon they are the best players cavity back irons out there just now.

A retail 7w in there now though, interesting. It was a 5w up until recently.

I'm the opposite.   I sense he's an honorable guy with a fantastic, classic swing who I love to watch.

I never question JR's honesty or integrity - just have a personal issue with the fact that he had a charisma-bypass as a child. But we all have our favourites - or otherwise. I'm sure JR will not lose any sleep over my feelings towards him.

I’ll admit, he’s a bit bland. 
 

Ryder cups, majors, for about 18 months it felt like he was a machine out there.

Good guy for the tour though and a hall of famer, without a doubt.

Never got a chance to try those Lamkin rel ace 3gen grips before they discontinued them. Seems very loyal to them.

I got ahold of one his old driver shafts a couple years back (dude gets a LOT of stuff built for him to test) and I was actually surprised by it. I remember thinking I really liked the way it had been built up only to pull the grip and find no extra tape. It has a larger lower hand like most of the "+2" grips Lamkin makes, but the overall grip felt slightly larger, just shy of midsize.

He has the most strokes gained putting in the majors by a wide margin since switching to that putter in 2019. I use the Rose putter and it flat out works. Maybe it looks the way it does for a reason? 🤔

Best grip ever. I still have them on my original Artisan wedges from 2018. Still very tacky and feel great. I was laughing about it the other day while comparing my gamer wedges with GP Tour velvet that are as slick as ice and need to be replaced after 3 months.

Since he left TM and had a brief stint with Honma his bag has changed a lot but interesting that he's stuck with the putter all that time. Curious to see if he uses the Srixon ZX 2 iron and the Cleveland wedges at the Sentry. I think he still uses a TM ball??

Those Axis1 putters really work. Can feel how easy it is to start the ball online. Surprised more have not followed him considering he went from a great putter to even better when he switched. I like the tech a lot more than the LAB putters.
