Apologies. Didn’t intend on a shaft spec argument, but just find it perplexing that someone would criticize a stock shaft offering only to suggest basically the same shaft as an alternative.

PX Wedge is currently an option for the SM9 ($15 upcharge).

Am I losing my mind?  I just ordered SM9s a couple weeks ago and did not see that as an option. I looked at options over 3-4 days so I'm almost certain it wasn't there...   Clearly see it as an option now though.

Titleist has been updating there shafts and prices for a couple weeks now. I go on their site all the time and stuff is there then gone. They just added MMT 105 to Vokey shaft selection from a week ago.

Best part of SM10s coming out is that it means SM9s can be had at a nice discount!

Thoughts on Spieth’s comments on the SM10s? 
 

“I think the sweet spot’s been moved; it’s bigger and it’s moved a little to where any potential over-hook is almost eliminated, which is really nice. You can step up with a left pin and be pretty aggressive.”

I think this is funny. I never worry about my wedge overhooking. I worry about chunking it or skull f$&ijg over the green.  If people feel more confident with the new Vokeys going at a tucked left pin more power to them!

I understand your point. However, this issue is a distinct issue for me with my 46* Vokey. If I go after one full, I have a tendency to over-draw it so I am happy to hear about this being addressed. I always thought it was just me going to hard, but it does only happen in the PW.

I just put an order in for a 46F and 50F. $144 for a new, custom Vokey is hard to pass up. And they look nicer than the SM10.

For me, I am more accurate with it and have better distance control. I had a friend that played on the KFT and he used one. He and I played the same shafts so I tried his during a round of play. He said he did it due to spin control and the ability to flight it down better. I ordered one and then went head to head with my stock PW utilizing a Trackman. It actually surprised me, but I was much more accurate with the 46 Vokey over stock PW so it went in the bag.

Spin, weight, and oddly, forgiveness. The club head is larger, and the sole of the Vokey works a little better for me through the turf because I have a steep AoA. I can carve out some serious carpets with my T100 PW and GW.

Have you tried bending your vokey's 1 or 2 degrees flat?

No. It only happens when I REALLY go after one. On stock, I love it's precision.

Main trade off is feel. Vokeys feel good but not like my forged T100 irons. Also possibly a tiny bit less distance with Vokeys because they are a bit heavier and no cavity.

None for me. I actually hit my Vokey a little further than T100 PW with the same loft.

I find the opposite, I can carve out carpets with either 50 degree but the t100 has WAY more forgiveness for my swing, especially on anything missing the sweetspot, or anything a touch fat. T100 50 just gets about the same distance, but 50 vokey will lose 7-10 yards. 
 

I’d love for titleist to offer a 54 set t100 wedge. I’d pick it up in a heartbeat.

Yeah, I'm mostly going off of recollections with past setups. I previously played Vokeys down 50 with the SM8 and to PW with SM7. But I haven't done a true loft-for-loft head-to-head test between T100 and SM9, so I'll do that after the Vokey 46 and 50 arrive. But I'm hoping that with 10 and 12 degrees of bounce I'll have better turf interaction with my steep AoA.
