I wonder how Cobra feels about Bryson leaving them and going to another brand that exclusively does the same thing. I'm sure they could have used the exposure at The Master’s with Bryson’s performance through the first 3-days.

 

I’d also be interested to know who will incorporate a set on tour after witnessing Bryson’s performance. This will either be a profitable money maker for Cobra or flop similar to the RF Blades.

BDC played different irons after Cobra let him go before he played the 3D printed irons at Augusta. Cobra is likely very happy to be rid of BDC as he was nothing but a headache for Cobra.

I mean I get what they are going for and moving that much weight you should really be able to do some crazy stuff from a forgiveness perspective.  However just knowing the irons in my bag were three grand would make me feel horrid.  I would put iron covers on them so none of my friends saw I was foolish enough to spend that kind of money on a set of irons.

Like the Titleist Concept irons, once this makes it to their flagship releases, I assume the price will be significantly less.

The thread with actual in hand pics in the very first post is probably the best place for users to land when looking at the irons.

I feel the same way but we all remember when PXG first came out and players were shelling out 5 Grand for a full setup. $3K is out of my budget. I’ll wait till they hit half that.

I mean, it's out of my budget range too, but there are SO many golfers out there with deep pockets. The promise of added forgiveness will lure people in (if they can get over the "Cobra" brand). No offense to anyone, just play what works for you.

These are pretty cool irons. But man is it gonna be a pain to clean the honeycomb. On another note these will in the BST classifieds in no time. I can see it already "only hit a couple of balls and rare" asking $4000.
