Aldila...that "Adilia" makes it a little hard to take it serious
lol my bad... i don't care what how to spell it... just care how i hit it
Lol sorry, couldn't resist. I'm going to say you're mid to late 20's, about 8-12 player who can get streaky and who isn't too worried about the latest and greatest, however you want to take advantage of improvements at some point after they have been proven.
Haha not bad at all... Im 25, play maybe 2-3 times a week... Never practice.... Currently carry a 5 index... And I definitely get streaky. I'll go 3 round between 74 and 76 then will go 3 rounds between 80 and 83.

Well played sir

Your bag says you clearly love golf, play a lot and seem quite passionate about your gear. You are probably 50+ with a swingspeed under 100mph,from the shafts possibly a low ballflight. You like to maximise your distance and most definitely like to use what works,if it works it's in the bag. It`s a nice set up.Probably putt left hand low too.

Damn you're good. :cheesy:

You'r not loyal to any one brand. You pick and chose wisely looking for what works for your game. You golf for pleasure and recreation and your pretty good id say you shoot low 80s, and you like to walk bc that's when you really find you rhythm, plus it's good excersize. You walk the course a lot which is why you keep you bag light. You'r out of college and started golfing again, you figured "i played when I was younger I bet I still have my swing." Your about 25-30 years old.

Whatever works.

Someone hit me on my bag, please!

Driver: Srixon Z-Star 9 deg, Miyazaki Dromos stiff, under my Scottish Terrier head cover (likeness of my faithful little fellow)

FW: Srixon Z-Star 15 deg, Miyazaki Dromos stiff

Hybrid: Ping G10 3h, DG S300

Irons: Ping ISI BeCu, 4-PW, Z-Z65 (these are typically in my bag)

OR, on occasion

Irons: Titleist 755, 4-PW, PX 6.0

Wedges: Scratch 8620 53 and 58, D/S

Putter: Big Oak by Dave Curry, Havana center-shaft mallet, 34"

...these 13 are in a black Mizuno carry bag.

You obviously love your dog, nice bag.Clubhead speed 100-105mph.Z star woods are great.Isi berryliums are a bit old school but look great with the brown patina,zz65 are lightweight but quite stiff.PX 6.0 are just too stout, not a nice butt stiff feel. You probably have a solid iron game.Nice wedges and you probably putt left hand low, straight back straight thro' stroke. In your 30's with 9-12 h'cap.

Wow, nicely done. I do love my dog, and he does occasionally accompany me for twilight rounds. good.gif

Driver clubhead speed is right on 105 with a comfortable pass -- I can get it over 110 by going at it harder, but why? It could wind up in the next county! I'm really happy with both sets of irons - they look and feel quite different, which is what I wanted, and both sets fit me pretty well. I am from Jack Nicklaus' home town, and I share his opinion that there's less trouble in the air than on the ground -- high-ball hitter here, even with the PX 6.0s.

I don't putt left hand low but perhaps I ought to try... I'm messing around experimenting with a long putter but I don't think my Havana is in any danger - got fitted for this one and I really like it.

Index is just over 6 right now but that's on the back of a handful of really good rounds. There's no running from the index -- the system works the way it works, but I'm a very inconsistent player, and can shoot 75 one day and 94 the next. russian_roulette.gif Symptomatic of a flipper, which I'm working hard with the Tour Striker to eliminate once and for all.

Holy crap. That is scary my friend.

Everything is SPOT on except the college part. I've been playing for a while and never stopped. Oh and my score varies from high 70s to low 90s, all depending on how concentrated I am or how much I've been playing. busted2.gif

Right come on them guys analyse me then:

titleist 910 D3 9.5* Fubuki tour 63 x

Titleist 910 f 14.25* fubuki tour 73 x

titleist 910 f 17* tour AD DI 8 x

titleist 690cb x100

vokey spin milled 52&58

odyssey Backstryke

and the bag is a battered old cleveland bag with a broken stand.

Here's what this (retired) caddy would think if I saw that bag:

 • You are a high-clubhead-speed, high-spin player, doing everything in your power to lower your ballflight. I see you are in England -- that may have something to do with it as a towering flight there is certainly not the advantage it is in my native Ohio. biggrin.gif
 • On the irons, if I saw any Titleist head with x100s, this is someone who knows how to properly hit and compress a ball and is likely a pretty good player
 • The Backstryke putter indicates that you may have some trouble on the greens, BUT that you are willing to try something unorthodox and maybe even a bit ugly. Whatever works, right? good.gif This is a marked contrast to the clean and traditional look of every other club in the bag
 • Battered old bag is a mark of someone frugal -- you and I might be cut from the same cloth here! biggrin.gif I recently picked up a brand new Srixon Z-Star driver and 3w, which were the first clubs other than a putter I had purchased brand new since I sprung for a Ping Zing 2 driver and 3W in 1995
 • For whatever reason, Titleist irons in an older bag was always a "don't play this guy for money!" signal to me. I'm guessing that on the UK system, your handicap is below 5, maybe significantly below

How close am I?

EDIT: I see the Titleist irons are not in fact blades. Edited for correctness.

WOW!!! that is stupidly accurate! handicap is 2, the putter thing is right as well going to a backstryke changed my putt average from 33-37 to 31-34 and it doesn't sit my eye but it works!

the only brand new clubs I bought out of them were the wedges! correct about the club head speed being fast and the spin being high!

thanks for looking!

you aren't a high ball flight player that's why you have a 10.5 driver and a high launch shaft in your wood. you are more about finding fairways than raw distance
you like the forgiveness of using the r11 irons over the tmag mbs even though you strike a solid ball
you carry 3 wedges because your short game is good and you prefer to not hit a full shot with a wedge

and you like taylormade?

anything on there correct?

Pink t** bag!
Zebra tw-41 memorial putter
Cg15 50 tour zip grooves
Vokey 58 chrome
Mp63 dg x-100 3-ow
callaway heavenwood 17 or tm rac 2 iron blade

Carry about a plus 2 on a bad day. I'll be out there soon enough
Vanity plus 2, as evidenced by your borderline obnoxious stating of the fact when everyone else is giving others the chance to guess. Plays closer to a 2-3 day in and day out. Probably are most likely to be seen wearing white pants and making sure the name on your back is facing the most people possible so everyone knows you have arrived. Like to think your swing speed is 120+, as evidenced by the driver shaft, but in reality you tend to lose it on a low block because you can't get your hands through it.

Guessing early 30's, solid player. Probably a moderate to good high school player and then let it get away from you a bit. Probably about 7-11 handicap, fairway finder, just not a birdie machine. Short game is your forte

OK, so what does this say about me.....

Ping G10 10.5 with ProLaunch Platinum
Homemade 3 wood (15-20 years old)
Titleist DTR 3-PW (circa 1987)
Mizuno MP-T10 black 54 & 58 wedges
Ping B60 putter
Sometimes steal my wife's Adams Ovation 5 wood

This should be interesting.......
I would give it a 12-14 handicap. The set clearly shows some striking ability and confidence in the clubs, but there is a lot of forgiveness. Further, I would expect the strength in your game is your iron shots particularly between 110-170 yards, reasonable tee shots and tidy around the greens. However, I would not think that you have great capacity to conjour up a shot to save par from the "shite". So in match play, if you hit a poor tee shot, I would look to find the easiest way to make par to win the hole.
That's pretty good. Actually I'm just coming back to golf after not playing for about 15 years (played competitive softball during that time) and using the same irons as previously. Used to play a lot before softball but not much now. Iron play is the best part of my game and I'm OK around the greens (and have some imagination but sometimes not the talent to pull it off). Off the tee is the worst part of my game right now but I'm working on it - hit it straight but too many pulls (probably from all the softball). Don't have a handicap but it might be a little higher than that right now. When I played before, I broke 80 a couple times and would normally shoot in the mid to upper 80's. Consistency is my problem now, just need to play more.

they'd probably think I was a snob
i would guess you are a really good player. Not many hacks have even heard of a purple ice shaft, or would know where to get one. Plus on a vsteel 3 wood? That just screams classic combo and not right off the shelf for sure. MP52's don't come standard with Project X i don't think so you were fit for those. Matching wedges, an odyssey #9 putter is a feel putter

if i saw that bag on the first tee i'd think you were good
Most really good players I now (low single digit and scratch) play off the rack stuff. Very few know anything much about equipment, fewer still tinker with shafts and stuff.

anybody who can stand look at g15 irons has a mental problem.

thats what I would think!
by the time i finish my thoughts on your setup you'll have a completely new one from top to bottom LOL!
lol. Probably. But I've played the same clubs in 2011 all year. Even 2010...... My early extreme hoing has forever ruined my wrx reputation.....

If somebody saw my current bag they would know I was fit for the driver, have played / practiced quite a bit with my irons as the 53s are current and they are quite worn.
yeah but your screen name's literal meaning is that you are addicted to buying, selling and trading LOL....just go back to KG, we can all support a KG who says he keeps the same clubs for a full year. But if a guy's screen name is "big fat guy" i would assume he is a big fat guy ...haha
fine it's going back to the original!

I actually played a guy in a pro am who had 845s and a pal. He looked like he was homeless. Ended up destroying us............

Best golfer I ever played with was about a +2 played a newish Callaway driver, Wilson Ultra 45 irons and a Taylor Made TPA VIII putter. This was about 3 years ago. The second best was playing Big Bertha Tungsten irons this past summer. Both have played in the nationals for most of the last 15 years.

Here's my set up, let me know what you think.

Nike VR Pro w/ px 6.0 44.5 in. 9.5*
Titleist 909F2 13.5* Blueboard stiff
Titleist 909H 19* Blueboard stiff
Nike VR Pro combos S300's 3-PW
Nike VR Forged wedges 52*, 58*
Nike Method 001 34in
Nike VR Staff bag

Guessing early 30's, solid player. Probably a moderate to good high school player and then let it get away from you a bit. Probably about 7-11 handicap, fairway finder, just not a birdie machine. Short game is your forte

Hc is a 4-5 depending on how well I've been playing. I'm 23 in college and find the fairways avg 285-295 and can shape the ball off the tee either way. Long game is my strength and my GIR today was 13/18.

What threw me was the staff bag, most guys with staff bags either ride full time or have pull carts, something which takes up space and money, thus uncommon for a college guy. The length surprises me based on the shafts, although the fairway finder definitely makes sense
