I think some are failing to realize this thread only works how it was intended to if you review the bag posted ahead of yours before posting your own to be reviewed by the next poster

Otherwise it just turns into just a "post your club setup here" thread

You like the latest and greatest and probably bomb the piss out of the ball.

Ever heard of a Walmart? That's the distance between my ball and your ball.

Use that one next time you outdrive someone by a mile, like you probably do regularly.

This is an interesting one as you play a super light driver shaft but still have the heavy metal in your irons. My guess is that you're straight but not that long and have a great short game....because guys that only have 1 wedge above the PW almost always are. Also, you're probably a pretty good putter. I'd think you've been playing for a while and have slid back, due to some distance loss and courses becoming longer, to somewhere around a 5 handicap. My theory on your length is totally based on how light your driver shaft is but I could be totally wrong due to your other shafts.

Heres my bag:

Nike Covert Tour 2.0 X-Stiff 9.5* 44.5"

Nike Covert Performance X-Stiff 3W 15*

Nike Covert Tour 3H

Nike VRS Covert Forged 4-AW X100 USA Ryder Cup Edition Shafts

Nike VR Pro Forged Dual Sole 56*/60*

Scotty Cameron California Del Mar 35" w/ Super Stroke 2.0 USA Ryder Cup Grip

What does my bag say about me besides shafts/putter grip saying that I love America?

They make Ryder cup edition shafts, awesome. I see you as either big tiger or Rory fan with all the Nike in the bag. All the patriotic gear suggests Patrick reed type persona and a tendency not to talk s*** but rub it in others faces when their s*** talking backfires. Not listing wood shafts means you probably are more concerned about your swing/technique and not whether you are generating 300 rpms of excess spin.

I used to caddie when I was in high school and college and we were always judging the golfer by the bag, because we got the bag before we met the golfer. We would always look for a few giveaways for a bad golfer:

Iron covers - seriously?!?!

Graphite shaft irons - This was mainly early 2000's before they were good

Weight of bag - heavier the bag, the worse the golfer

# of balls in the bag - more balls, the worse the golfer

a missing iron

dirty club faces

tri-fold towel on towel loop

We were right more than we were wrong, but there are always exceptions.

The Patrick Reed comparison is definitely spot on, mainly in the form of sarcastic comments towards playing partners. Grew up watching Tiger but was a Callaway loyalist until I won a full Nike fitting and the first covert tour driver free a few years ago. Definitely a believer of 90% of the time it's the Indian not the arrow. Although I do have aftermarket shafts in my woods, other than the 3H which I cannot hit and is just a pretty red Nike paperweight.

I'm assuming your a long hitter going with driver, 4 wood, and 2-iron.. I'm assuming you are a college player, probably a nice college. Not many guys go for Taylormade irons. I personally don't like the rsi but your set up makes me think you are a good ball striker.

I don't usually judge (got my tail handed to me by an old diabetic playing killer bee full set clubs), but you are a play what works best, "damn what they say" type.

But may be a putter ho. But they are all the same model type. Just different types.

Solid player. Don't show up wasted to play, but a 10-ish cap?

Hmmm. looks a bit familiar, at least a few things.

I would say you hit it far, good ball striker, but when you fail to score well, it is due to short game and putting. I say a 5-6 cap

The obvious answer is you like Titleist.

You clearly don't like making the game any harder than it has to be - based on your choice of 3 hybrids vs. 3-5 iron.

You like a little customization/personalization without getting too serious about it. Custom putter is a nice touch, and you just kinda roll w/ the shafts that come in every other club.

50/54/58 shows you know enough about club gapping to pick the appropriate wedges.

I'd guess you at a 12 handicap from Indiana??

My first thought would be this guy loves Taylormade. Just the newer clubs in the bag from them in the staff bag and I'd think either you just have a lot of money OR you're really good and on their staff (or both). The speeders would lead me to believe that it's the latter of them and that you have some game. The MB's would really follow up that assessment and the 52/56/60 wedge set leads me to believe you understand proper gapping (especially with the MBs going on down through). Also, love the TM Lethals.

Have at it!

Haven't updated my sig in awhile, but here we go...

Ping G30 - Driver

Cally Xhot2 Pro - Fairway

TEE - XCG6 - 3 hybrid

Srixon Z545 - 4-GW

Hogan TK Wedges - 52, 56, 60

Scotty Black Mist Notchback

You haven't update the driver in a bit, so you seem comfortable - must be hitting fairways, and the use of the xhot shows you aren't afraid to back it up off the tee to keep it in the short stuff. The exotics hybrid shows you know a thing or two about clubs, and the srixons have enough forgiveness meaning you have overcome your ego as a player.

Anyone who plays Hogan's is a player to be reckoned with, and the putter is a solid stick - must have at minimum a decent short game.

Now for Myself - clubs in sig but for the mobile site...

915 D3 with Kai'li 70x

Exotics XCG7 16.5 w/ Fubuki K 70s

915h with UST iRod 105 F5

Cobra Amp Cell Pro, 4-PW, Recoil Proto 125 f5's

Bettinardi H2 PVD wedges, Recoil Proto 125 f5's

Bettinarid Queen B Model 6
