the one thing i dont like on the hybrid is the red paint line past the hosel. it makes the club look offset. the tm superfast rescues were the same.

Ok, Nike got carried away with their Swoosh logo.... its on the bottom, toe and crown...enough already!
Take it off the crown, and it is that much better.

The old VRS and VR LE are both going away and the only driver Nike will over will be the Covert (both STD and Tour).
All Nike irons are going forward except the VRS which is going to be replaced by the covert iron.
The new Nike 20XI ball is just freaking awesome. I got to play around with one (short game only) and this thing feels fantastic off the putter and generates spin somewhere between the old 20XI and 20XI-S balls. Hit the new ball on a launch monitor and it felt good off the driver with lower spin than the older model.

Between the new woods and ball, I can see Nike making money next year.

Everyone said they would paint white drivers black, too. Didn't really happen. I think when we are able to actually hit these clubs, the color and swoosh on the crown will be negligible at most.

Nothing for purists- for these guys the colour and the swoosh are more important as performance.

Ive never been so frustrated with a equipment release. The technology is great (cavity, and hosel adjustment) but they just look so god awful! Hoping for a limited version that most of us might actually play.

If it were painted black and had no swoosh, because it looks 100% traditional at address, why does it matter what the sole looks like?

One thing that I'm very curious is the sound and feel. I like the idea being able to adjust the loft +- 5* but that swoosh logo on the top has got to go!

I'm a little surprised that they've abandoned the compression channel technology in the fairways - most folks that played with the VR Pro LE fairways seemed to think this was a very effective distance creator, competitive with the RBZ. I wonder how the COR/CT of the Covert fairways compares with VR Pro LE?
