Clubs look sooooooo nice, I cannot believe they slapped a huge Swoosh on the crown. That alone will be the reason I don't even try this club. I do not want to love it and end up carring around a damn Nike billboard with me on each tee box...

The black and red on the tour versions look SICK... That Tour hybrid looks like an absolute weapon. The idea of a cavity back driver is so intriguing, and with the ability on all the clubs to tweak loft and face angle independently, I don't know how anyone can't go to the range for a few hours and find settings that give them exactly what they want. All reports are saying the sound is good off these, and with real KK's as the stock shaft, these are going to be flying off the shelves for Nike. Especially when the entire Nike staff, including Tiger and Rory,2 guys that get 60% of the coverage or more when they play, as well as plenty of 3rd party PGA golfers start using these. Odds that Luke replaces the TM equipment with these? Never been a huge Nike fan, but these are just plain SEXY. Overall extremely positive comments from WRX too, Nike's clearly got a winner. Might have to grab some TW blades now to compliment the woods ;-) Gotta hate when golf season is ending and clubs like this get released.

I doubt Tiger and Rory will bag this. This is the replacement of the VR_S line...They are keeping the VR and the VR_S seperate, aren't they? The VR Pro LE came out at the end of last year, right? My guess is their speed line and pro line are on different two year cycles, and if that is the case, Rory and Tiger will both end up with the VR Pro LE. Just my guess...

I see lots of pros wearing things on their hats that they don't play, like the g20/i20, and W/S Di line...for example.

But still, that's 9/12 months. Most places in the US the season is only 7-8/12 months.

going to say this again - but i am very excited about these products (DRIVER/FW)! absolutely hit the mark IMO.

here are some initial questions for NIKE:

1. will the hollowed out section create an unpleasant sound?
2. will the adjustment - adjust LOW enough for my liking, as it seems to cater to the person looking for more loft.
3. will there be reasonably priced upgrade shafts available to test/purchase? KURO KAGE doesn't work for me with drivers i've tested.

additional comments for NIKE:

the driver and fw's look very appealing in shape to my eye. the hybrids are missing the mark still. the shape looks off to my eye. the adjustment is great, but i would have a hard time gaming it vs. other hybrids on the market.

Interesting concept. Really like the idea behind it but I'm curious how the Flex-Loft system will affect the bounce of the sole on the FWs and Hybrids. If you changed the 3wd from 13° to 17° or the 3 Hybrid from 19° to 24° would the back of the sole start to come into play? I'm guess from the pictures here that the driver has an curved up slope near the back so maybe it's the same on the FWs and hybrids as well.

Any thoughts on that?

That's true. I'm up in Northern Utah and it's actually 60's all this week for us, which almost never happens. And we were playing in March this year. Might make it almost a full 8 months, maybe longer. Only bad thing is that means I keep spending money ho'ing around on all this good stuff...

The shape of the woods looks awesome. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the color or the big swoosh on the club face but if the club is good then who cares. I thought Nike took a step in the right direction with the LE and it seems this is another step in the right direction. The big decider is going to be the sound of the club with the hollow back but it looks like a really nice product.

Summer is the best. Less crowded and quick rounds. Winter is the worst, 6 hour rounds.
