I'm also looking forward to seeing things like the K grind come to retail. Very few things are easier then a Vokey K grind out of a trap or lush rough. Having that as a retail option instead of only a TVD offering is going to make a lot of people happy.

A bunch of actual info came forth on the last page. Someone posted the media link to the wedges but it has since been removed. There is still plenty of info that was left up. I'm sure the people who have seen the wedges already will continue to talk about them.

The SM -CC grooves were the first vokey legal grooves, then SM4 and SM5.

Wow, those look incredible. Clean look.

Bought three SM4s this year to replace my beloved CG14s and at first I hated them. Seemed a bit smaller and less forgiving than the Clevelands, and I wasn't sold on them at the beginning of the season. Now....the Vokeys are pretty much the only wedge I look seriously at. I've hit so many great approach shots with them, and around the greens and out of sand they just work really well. They feel great on flushed shots too. Today I had a long par 3 where I pushed a hybrid into a sand bunker on the right of the green. I hit a really good 54* 25 yard shot to about 7 ft. and made the putt to save par.

Never thought I'd really like the Vokeys but gave them a chance this season and they've really performed well. I'll be getting 3 of the SM5s next year to replace the SM4s. The only question is gold nickel or raw black!?!?! Damn.

I wonder if the grooves are going to be a bit more aggressive - I found the SM4 amazing but I wished the 56 - 60 range spun a bit more.

The mizuno and MD2 both spin a bit more...

145 dollars for a cast wedge? They are good wedges, but for that kind of money I would rather get another set of Scratch's (think they raised their prices too) or even better, get a Callaway wedge that is forged, spins like hell, and is 120 dollars.
