It says "limited edition," so I imagine the wavy-gravy bottom is the custom/collectible bit. I wonder what the divots look like.

I think all these clubs look great. I could do without the Exotics name plastered on the crown, but I guess that's the way the market's going.

Oh wait, Tour Edge is based in or near Chicago, so the sole is probably a reference to the Aqua building, which in an iconic wavy skyscraper there:

Liking the look of the beta, really not sure about the wavy sole of cb pro, but sure it will perform, hope it is not aggravating to keep clean.

The cb is at least something that will be tried by all, based on sheer curiosity regarding the sole. I know I sure will, and I just bought an XHot pro a week ago!

Woah didnt expect the ripples! Can't wait to hear more...

Very interesting. Is it possible that it keeps the clubhead online through the hit by interacting with the turf? Maybe I'm reaching.... lol

Better hope not. With your open face at impact you'd leave it right all day!!

Would love to hear the marketing speak on this CB. It's a polarizing design no doubt. 100% a feast or famine club for TEE.

I was thinking it could be like a rudder through the turf but there are too many if you compare it to a truly aquatic application. Still, seems to be a fascinating design and may be a breakthrough in club design if it indeed does straighten out shots.

Always like the Exotics line and that Tour Pro looks very nice. Would love to see how it compares to my XHP 3 wood but $500 for a FW wood is asking a lot. Even if its longer by 10 yards is that worth the extra $300 difference between the XHP?

That pricing must surely relate to the driver??. No matter how good the fairway is, they are gonna struggle to shift any volume at more than $300 and even that will be a stretch. They make a GREAT fairway product though and these look to be equally good.

Why the ripples on the sole grooves? This could either make a big wave in the competitive fairway wood/ driver replacement category, or be one of those "remember that one club TEE made a few years back with the wild comb thing on the bottom?". Interested to read more and see it in person. It looks like it could have potential, but also looks like I wouldn't be surprised if it went the other way.

Anal Club Cleaners would go insane keeping this clean on the course.

913FD w/ a Fuji Pro95 cost you 450 out the door, high dollar fw's are out there paired with some exotic shaft combos. Im sure 3 deep, RBZ Stg 2 with an exotic shaft or upgrade is close to that price?

That's why I had to settle with a used 906f with the pro95, cost about 375 cheaper.

As someone else state, the Tour Exotic products are under rated cannons, prob the most under rated OEM , them or Mizunio. I beat this flat out performs.

TEE fairways used to be awesome because they were the only ones that were actually a high COR fairway wood outside component clubs. Now that almost all OEMs are making the same things (whether it be the RBZ, XHot Pro, etc) TEE has lost their edge in that category. They'll need something else to pitch on why their fairway woods are $300 vs something else that is $180 like an XHP. I still have a CB1 4 wood that I love and won't get rid of, but the XHP I have beats it in every single category possible.
