The only thing I don't like about early morning golf is the wet, fresh cut grass that sticks to everything. Other than that, the air is fresh, it's cool and quiet.

Playing dawn patrol golf is hands down the best. It’s quiet and peaceful and most of the time you’re not waiting for the group ahead of you. And with young kids and a family it’s not a day killer still have lots of time for family. Everybody wins

I play at 7 am every sat and sunday ...other dads ask me how do you sneak in 3 rounds go golf a week ...

I am done including a beer after with the boys and home by like 11:15. Early morning is the best (just don't tell the others)

My very early morning rounds are vacation rounds. The day before I played two rounds, hit 2 to 4 brewpubs, went to my hotel, took a hot shower, and was likely asleep by 8:30 pm. So, no, getting up at 4:30 am is not too difficult, especially when I'm in the Mountain or Pacific time zones, and my body clock is ahead by an hour or two.

Ahhh yes, I took a day off before and played 2 rounds same day and did not have trouble sleeping at all.. just a different mode.

Thank you for sharing the pictures of the amazing courses you play.. it draws a pretty good map of places I would like to play for once my family gets a little settled.

Great as long you don't have frost or a heavy dew. But on the positives a clear course, pristine sand and no marks.

More partial to the sunset views being out west, but nothing beats the pace of play being first out in the AM.

I am usually too excited anyways, so going to bed or late doesn’t matter, probably going to sleep the same.
