Cobra 2020 Drivers

Does any1 know of when or if Cobra maybe announcing/releasing their new driver range for next year?? Maybe an F10?? I desperately need a new driver but trying hard to put off the purchase of an F9 in the wait of what might come.

No F10. The new line will be available in January. It may be announced in late November.

I have seen and hit the new line. It will go by the moniker of speedzone. There are two models, the more tour model is just speedzone. Then there is the more forgiving model called the SZ extreme. They look GREAT!! The changes are subtle but great! I think it will be a big winner for cobra this year. They will have a more matte head and a high gloss head.

I am even more excited for the fairway woods.

This sounds completely awesome. Mind you completely frustrating as I need a new(er) driver now. This makes me excited and will have to continue holding off for this new release. Cheers for the update :)

I actually suggested that to someone a month or so ago. Then we realiized there are probably many copyrights already on FX or any version of it.

I am excited about this driver. Are there only 2 versions or could there be a 3rd as well?? Pics are great :)

It’s funny as even though there is a pic of it and we now know the name of this amazing driver there is absolutely nothing on the internet. Given that there are some photos and knowledge it must be soooo close to being announced. I need more photos and videos of this new range.

I have been told by an absolute legend of golf and the internet/YouTube that it is in my best interest to hold off on buying an f9. He has seen, used and reviewed this new range. I am definitely updating :)

The main benefit to this is that the F9 will be so cheap.

New SZ looks like a repackaged F9. The F9 is a great driver. The F9 is marginally better than the F8. The F8 is also a great driver. Looks like the F8 is about to get much cheaper as there are still new old stock available on the market.

Got a basically brand new f8 for $89 a couple months ago. Can't imagine the f9 is that much better, especially for my paltry 102SS. The one thing I love about Cobra is that they've kept the same adapter; gives me lots of shaft choices.

I found the F9 to be dramatically better than the F8, the Speedback shape/design had a much better CG placement and aerodynamic design. And visually it looked better by the ball. And SZ is an improvement on the above, especially the new face ?

Wonder if it will finally beat my LTD Pro?

I love my F8 but wish it was more "stretched" out like the Ping G410. Kind of like the old Cobra Speed line

I really like my f8+ driver as it is just a solid performer. F9 feels a little softer and might produce a touch more ballspeed but it was hard for me to justify spending the extra cash for minimal gains. However, I’m really anxious to see this new one. I tend to upgrade every 2 cycles if it is worth it.

I am still waiting in an anticipation of this new driver/drivers. From what I understand they will be a huge step up and beyond from the f8 and still a step up from the f9. The problem is, when will we properly find out?? It must be soon??

November 19th is the end of the embargo. Jan 2020 in launch. Not long now and all will be revealed

I've seen the new line and it looks great. Cobra planning on adding Mitsu MMT to the upgrade list for irons?

I'm hoping that they are worth the wait... trying to talk myself out of trying a Ping driver out

The cobra stuff was 'a hit' last year, too - until TM and Callaway came out with their lines. Cobra is always early to release and they perform, but will always be outmatched by the larger brands.
