PGA Championship = 2017's best major?

Have a feeling Sergio, Rory, Scott and Stenson will be in the mix for this but Quail Hollow will be a treat regardless, ball strikers course requiring being able to work it both ways and create shots really looking forward to it thought the course for last years PGA was so bland this is anything but!

We usually go down every year for the Wells Fargo but decided to skip the PGA as the I'm sure the crowds will be massive.

Everyone's dislike and disregard for the PGA maybe the thing I am most dumbfounded by at the moment. Someone asked earlier if it's ever been in the best major in a single year. Really?

 

I just don't get where it all comes from? Every major can't be the best one. The PGA more than holds its own in my opinion. And replace it with The Players? I won't even dignify that idea with a response.

People will hate the fact it's still a major

People will hate every on-course commentator and the color analyst

People will find a reason to discuss how a player treats his caddie and hate him for it.

People will hate the way the course is set up

People will hate the person doing the trophy presentation

People will hate that there are commercials on a televised sporting event

People will hate how Brandel analyses ANYTHING about the tournament, and ANYTHING to do with ANYONES swing or game.

People will hate anyone who wins for some reason that we can't fathom at this point in time.

LOL! Guaranteed for the 1st and likely the 2nd round as well somebody here will be freaking out that they can't find it on TV. In spite of TNT (originally TBS) televising the early rounds of the PGA since 1991. Same thing will happen for the early coverage for rounds 3 and 4 on TNT. A tradition unlike any other.

2000 PGA, Tiger vs Bob May best major of the year and it set up a chance at a Tiger slam.

 

I can see Fowler, DJ and maybe Rory, although changing your caddie to your buddie is not working out yet for Phil, so you never now. Should be fun to watch.
