Definitely looks like an iron shaft with a powder coating...or dare I say, graphite??

It would be interesting if they jumped into the wood shaft market. Seems a little strange to start off with a fairway wood shaft if they were trying to break through, but the driver shaft market is stacked. So maybe specializing in fairway woods is the right call.

They’ve made steel fairway shafts forever in the 850 and 950. It would be interesting if they made a modus model.

I'm staying tuned. Even if it was just an iron shaft and FW was the new code... I've always wanted a stealth set of irons and wedges. If these were like modus 105/120 add ons but stepless.... and same feel? Yes please.

They also have had the Regio line of graphite driver shafts.

The proto hybrid shaft from last year looked like this as well (graphite over steel).

Interesting, seems like an odd way to go to me. But, if it works it works.

Chez Reavie has it in his hybrid. That's the only one I know of.

They've been doing wood shafts for few years now. https://nipponshaft.co.jp/product/graphite_regio_formula+.html

It would be nice to see a US release of the graphite on steel hybrid and fairway shafts.

I've gamed the 110X Prototype hybrid shaft since July. Without question the most stable shaft I've ever used. Can't see the fairways being worse...

Is the combo supposed to give the consistency of steel with the "feel" of graphite aka less harsh?

Now I'm very interested, although I'm guessing the price will be out of my range given the technology.
