I put the gloves in the washer regularly and then put them in the dryer in the air dry cycle. Seems to make them last a bit longer. Probably go through 1 glove every 15-20 rounds/range sessions.

Last year I started using a FootJoy all weather glove. Great in wet weather as well as in the heat of summer. I am still on my first one - I cannot wear it out! Wear it all the time now.

definitely agree on this one. Buy 15 twice a season from MG and love the feel of a fresh glove

Try rain gloves. That's all I use now when it's above 70 out. Before that I was going through one per round on hot days. Even on cooler days I will start with a normal glove then switch as soon as my hands started to sweat.

I can’t think of it as being something that I have ever paid much attention to but thinking about it, I probably go through about 5 or 6 during the course of the year in terms of gloves that I would wear on the course with another heap that I would wear for the range.

This is about where I'm at in regards to rounds/year and taking it off between shots and when chipping/putting. That said, I honestly do not know how many golves I go through a year. Maybe 2-3? I just play until I wear one out, then I buy another one, and the old one gets put on the bag for the rare occasion I warm up at the range. When the new one wears out, the old one gets thrown away, the worn out one goes to range duty, and a new one is added. There is no set number of rounds, and I dont have any need to have a new glove. As long as it doesnt have any holes in it and it's not too slick/stiff from sweat and oils, I will keep wearing it.

Around three, maybe four. I play about once a week and live in Ohio, so golf season is usually March/April -> October.

I bought two Fit39 gloves in May ‘18 and just replaced them last week; not because I had to, either (structurally fine, just getting grungy looking).

I play 50+ rounds a year, have Lamkin UTX cord grips, and don’t take off my glove for the entire round.

I go through 6-8 per season, over the course of 50 ish rounds. I use the Tour Wrap 2G grips which don't beat up the glove like a z-cord or even an MCC. However, Minnesota gets really humid in July and August and that's when I start to go through them from sweat. Once they go through a couple rounds of humidity, nothing prevents the glove from getting the crusted feel to it. And then they stink too.

Last year I think I went through 8-10 gloves. I generally play with 2 a round switching back and forth because I sweat a lot and that just eats gloves like nothing.

I play about 30 rounds a year. Basically 1 glove a season thanks to callaway gloves. Dont get all hard and crunchy after 1 to 6 rounds. Really awsome.

I usually get a hole in my left thumb and that's when the glove is done. That's the only place on the glove that shows and noticeable wear, for whatever that's worth.

10-12 at least and probably more but just don’t want to think about it. I only wear them when it gets warmer and humid which is May through September here. My hands sweat a lot so I may rotate 4 a round during summer plus cord grips. Once they start getting stiff and worn, I use them on range and break out fresh ones.

I play probably 100 rounds a year and hit balls at least once or twice a week. I'd say a glove lasts me about 2-3 weeks, less in summer time.

Check this out though, if you have a Golf Galaxy nearby, I buy gloves there and pay $4 extra for the "Protection Plan." When the glove rips, as it always does, I file the claim online, send it in and they send me a gift card for the purchase price of the glove. By the way, their sales person was the one to sell me on it, I asked are you sure it works for a wearable item like a glove and yes it does.

Like others, I rotate 3 or 4 gloves at a time. Come summer time here in Atlanta, I will actually rotate 3 gloves per round, switching each hole. This way no glove ever gets completely soaked in sweat which 1) means they give you a better grip and 2) helps them last ALOT longer.
