Pardon me if this question was already asked and answered in the 20 pages, which I haven't read, but what do you all suggest would be some good options for selling a TAG Aquaracer automatic watch? I'm not really interested in dealing with Ebay hassles. Thanks

Are outlets legit? I looked up Movado and Citizen on their respective websites and don't list Movado Company stores and Citizen Company stores as authorized dealers. There are plenty of them around the USA and are out in the open at the outlet malls. Part of me thinks they just don't want people to go to the outlet and buy the older and cheaper models. Since they are out in the open it'd be so easy for LE to bust them if they aren't selling genuine stuff. Anyone know?

Ugh!!!! Okay, I’m looking to purchase a Rolex Milgauss PVD and it seems the 2018 catalogue doesn’t include a PVD. So, I’m now trying to find legitimate dealers in preowned/ mint w/ box and papers. Does anyone have a good place to start or people you have dealt with that are reliable and honest sources for preowned Rolex models? The first place that popped up in my search was Chrono24 but I’ve heard some horror stories. Any help would be much appreciated!

Rolex doesn't offer any PVD finishes from the factory so your stuck trying to find thats already done. DLC is better than PVD and there is more options as well but I would proceed cautiously with aftermarket modded watches because resale value is poor but if you intend to keep it thats no big deal. Tudor offers the Black Bay in a factory black finish just food for thought.

Theres a link to the all of the DLC coated Milgauss on Chrono24

Thanks for the information. It appeared that older models came in that finish but a bit more research showed me that you were correct. While resale is not my primary concern it is something to keep in mind. More research has me stuck between the Rolex Datejust II and the Omega Seamaster P.O. 600m. Now to find a deal! Thanks again.

For anyone interested, hodinkee.com is a great resource for watch enthusiasts. Their staff is highly knowledgeable and the website is very well done. I especially enjoy the "Talking Watches" videos in which staff members interview famous people about their watch collections.

PS - apologies if someone already mentioned Hodinkee (I haven't had a chance to read all 21 pages of this thread yet).

BTW, here are some pics of my Piaget 50th Anniversary Limited Edition. Piaget makes the thinnest wristwatches in the world.

HODINKEE is great. They do stick to more of the haute horology but as long as that’s what you’re in to it’s a great site.

I love how his watch was used and not babied. I know it's a huge investment, but they're tough watches. I had a non-watch colleague who got a Submariner as a gift, he used that watch for everything. The bracelet/case had a lot of wear/scratches, but it worked and never let him down.

I wear a lot of gray and navy pinstriped suits with blues and greens and pinks mixed in with shirt and tie combinations, and I really like the look of this Speedmaster. Not that it really matters, as I’m 99% on getting it, but do you think men’s or women’s when you see it? It’s only a 38mm but I’m a small guy so that doesn’t bother me as it fits better than the larger pieces.

Thanks Hawkeye. I didn’t think of it either until I was looking for information on the piece and saw it listed as a Ladies watch on a site. I still don’t see it, but I figured I’d ask.

Nice piece. My Olympic divers is small for a diving watch but that's never bothered me. Looks perfect on my wrist.
