Where are you playing tomorrow - Chicago (Round2)

I don't know about their prices, but if you can hit a demo day at Chicago Bills you'll do well. Last time I went, last year I think, I demoed pretty much everything from every manufacturer. Some had upgrade and exotic shafts available too. It can be hit or miss as to who and how much is there, but if you get a good day you can hit pretty much everything, and many have launch monitors as well. I recommend it.

I don't like hitting of mats (even for drivers) so I asked if I could go down to the grass portion of the range and hit and they said no problem. They will hook you up with balls as well. I didn't check out prices or anything else in the store so can't comment on that.

Chicago Bills is my go to shop. They will wheel and deal on everything. I dont recommend taking your trade ins because they go right off of the PGA trade in value book so unless you just want to dump them try selling them yourself on BST-ebay etc. But if you want to see what they will offer you, prepare yourself and bring the lube.
If you're serious about buying, go see Norris (club repairs/builds and he is their main club fitter) and or Mark(part owner).

Orchard Valley greens were sanded last night.... Aaarrrgggghh.

Also, the rough was really rough, just off the fairway and around the greens.

I was chipping from the green side rough an actually double hit the ball. That has never happened in my life.

Haven't played there yet this year but have been waiting for a nice calm day....

Not sure about it being a top 3 or whatever it's rated but I think it's a very solid course. I really enjoy the course. After playing Schaumburg for years and years, once I got my friends to HoE they were hooked.

I went out as a single and got paired up with a 2 some. It was their first time playing it.
Just a gorgeous day to play.

I definitely think HOE deserves to be in the top 3. Can't think of many others I'd rather play.
