Clubs in my profile.

Up to three months ago, 2004 Jaguar Vanden Plas. Lots of trunk for clubs, but blown rear end on road trip was the final straw (only 72k on odom.).

Traded for Subaru Crosstrek. Versatile, dependable, boring.

Update 2017: Wife has the Subaru, I bought a VW Passat. Sort of a poor man's Audi.

Love the thread. I've been away for a while but this topic has peaked my interest being a car guy and a club tinkerer.

My clubs are in the sig mostly all B'stone/Fourteen and all built by me.

I drive an '04 VW Passat Wagon manual and an '03 Audi S6 Avant. Both are lowered and have tastful upgrades put on. The S6 is a current project car of mine hence the time away from this forum spent on Audi forums instead. Kind of funny that I have essentially taken apart all my clubs and cars and put them back together the way I want. I have the S6 sitting in my driveway w/ the engine timing compenents taken apart for a timing belt job as we speak. There isn't a single club in my bag I haven't put together (except the putter but even that is also a custom model).

I guess I like custom things and pride myself in doing the work myself. Just having the newest club or car doesn't do it for me, it's gotta be one of kind or custom spec'd to my needs.

Clubs are in my sig.

My car is like a trusty 3w, it works and I'm afraid if I get something new I'll regret it. I have an Infiniti G35x with 140k on it. We also have a 2015 Lexus RX.

I have 18 months on my student loans and then the car situation is likely to change. Probably looking at either a Jaguar F-Pace or a Porsche Macan.

Lucky you. I cry myself to sleep sometimes thinking about my student loans. It's like a nightmare that never ends.

All the credit goes to the wifey. She's had a plan and kept us on track to pay off $160k of loans, in less than 6 years. (Edit: those were just mine. With her loans it is more like $230k in 7 years.) Although, our monthly loan payment has vastly exceeded our mortgage every month during that time.

Sounds like a dream.. If I could put my student loans and current car payment towards a car, I could drive just about anything under $100k.

its almost ridiculous what used Taco's sell for..... Exact reason why I bought one.

Yeah they command sick money. Really feel if you can swing it, buy a new one. Where I live (greater NYC), if it's got 200K on it they still want $10-$15 grand. Better dropping $35K for one with 0 miles, no? My 89 was a gem though. Ran like day I drove it off the lot after 10 years. If only everything else I bought was that good.

My company has settled into tundras, and I wanted a taco as a small truck option when I wound up with the mazda, but holy crap man, as much as I am a toyota fanboy, they are no lie more than tundras comparably equipped....And I just didn't care enough about what car I got. Plus mazda fully loaded (oxymoron, sorta, but my whip stacks up well against the wifes new Q50) was just over $26 new by time I was done pounding it out.

I must say. Wife driver her last cars into ground and did same with my tundra and tundra before that...I was stunned at how expensive cars are. Like for what I paid for the wifes car it was actually very justifiable by Comparison to other cars 5-10 less.

Nike: Vapor pro Driver

Woods: In between at the moment in the middle of Michigan winter.

Irons: Taylormade Rocketbladez tours

Wedges: Vokey's

Putter: Nike Method

Vehicle: 2015 Silverado z71 the reason was stated above. Michigans winter season is always better enjoyed in a 4X4 vehicle and it tows sweet as can be during the fall when I'm lugging the quad/treestands around from property to property.

I got it used with 40k miles on it 3 years ago. Got a couple of more payments to go. Im just going to bump up my 401k contribution when it's all paid off. I feel old saying that

Irons - Nicklaus High Ct (~10 yrs old)

Putter - Oddysey 2 ball (~10 yrs old)

Wedges - Cleveland 588 (craigslist buys, new to me but older)

Car is a 2014 Focus. I'll eventually get a set of player's irons but no doubt they will be used. Will probably drive a cheap car forever as I just don't care about having a nice one.

I drive a Ram 1500 sport.

No correlation, and I don't work in construction or really need a truck. Just that I've always loved trucks. Makes a bag fitting in the back seat or driving the entire 4some to the course no problem tho!

Skoda is an old Czech manufacturer making cars from 1895 now owned by Volkswagen :-(. Pre-Volkswagen they were the butt of a lot of jokes in the UK as they were cheap communist manufactured cars (Why do Skodas have heated rear windows? To keep your hands warm when you're pushing them). They were very good value for money when Volkswagen started turning them round, but now they are just clones of VW cars, as expensive and tainted with the emissions scandal!
