So people can scalp early and clear out stock and flip them? No wonder Nike shoes are a rip off in the secondary market. How did these people get in on a "reserve" list email?

 

You need to be a member on Nike+ app and have some purchase history I would assume. This is the 3rd pair I have had reserve notification and purchased them.

You need to be a member on Nike+ app and have some purchase history I would assume. This is the 3rd pair I have had reserve notification and purchased them.

 

Correct, I have bought every pair of Jordan golf shoes through NDC and also buy several pairs of regular golf shoes a year. Due to the purchase history, I have usually received a reserve if they offer them for Jordan golf.

based on how many people got their reserved pair without any issues I don't think there would be any problem getting a pair during the regular release on Friday, the quantity is not nearly as limited as some of the other Nike "limited" releases. This will "SOLD OUT" no questions but I'm almost certain that you will have plenty of time to grab a pair before they are "SOLD OUT".

Nike is a doing a great job at getting these to only real golfers. Whatever algorithm they are using to judge your golf buying history is working. None of my sneakerhead non golf friends got access.

If you have the Nike+ app check your inbox. The reserve invitation comes through the Nike+ app. It seems to be luck of the draw. Sometimes I get the cool stuff and sometimes I don't.

 

Also, check your favorites. I have mine marked for Jordan and Golf. That also helps.

This is one way to look at it I guess. And it’s true.

 

In reality, it’s more of a rewards program for being a good customer. I’m sure I’m a low end shoe ho/sneakerhead. Through day 1 drops and flipping/returning I bought 12 times from NDC app in 2018. If they offer me a prebuy, I usually buy it. This leads to more prebuys.

 

Most of the time I don’t even want the shoes. I can’t justify the new retail cost for most shoes. I’m not a hype beast. I’ll buy the shoe, then try to flip on StockX. If there’s no market for them, I’ll return them to Nike. Free returns.

 

The point is I’m active and buying and using my account. So NDCs analytics bots can pinpoint me as a guy that will likely buy anything they push to me. The more they push, the more I buy.

 

So why wouldn’t they push me a pair of the 11s?

 

When I couldn’t get the Cement 3’s at retail, that’s what started this quest as I knew the 11s were coming out someday “soon”. I wasn’t going to miss another grail drop. And now, I didn’t. So the plan worked.

AJ 1 OG high turbo green reserves got sent out as well, I didn’t get those. Only the 11 low golf, thankfully.

ive usually been getting all the golf shoes on reserve but the other iconic jordan offerings on SNKRS has been hit or miss. usually get them for the AJ11s but all the others models are hit or miss.

 

but for golf i have only purchased the AJ1 chicago and AJ3 white cement that have been offered as reserve and passed on the others.

 

been thinking about selling my chicagos lately because i havent worn them in over a year.

 

hopefully jordan brand comes out in spikeless offerings soon.

Same here. I wear a 12.5, which of course they don't offer in the Jordan golf shoes. Size 12 in the III's and IX's are a little snug. In the XIII's they fit nice. I went with a 13 for the XI. Hoping they fit as well.
