Slightly concerned with the Phil Mickelson "wanking" talk coming up!

 

I know Sky Sports have jazzed up the coverage of The Open this year but I think this might be going a little too far :fie:

Watching a Sky sports feed, and they've fallen into the CBS "featured group" trap where they show those couple of groups and nobody else. If you watch and not know, you would think the only guys on the course are the McIlroy and Spieth groups. Meanwhile other guys in the top 10 arent even getting any mention.

Stenson has a great sense of humor. Extremely dry but very pointed. I'd hang with him over an adult beverage or 6 anytime. Maybe TB would join us?

Nothing really against Phil, it's just irritating that once he's in contention one could be forgiven for thinking no one else is in the field.

 

True, but you have yo understand that there are so many 'Go Phil, fan boys' out there that are like excitable children, and with that immaturity comes a naturally irritating nature. Some of us who are a little more mature, although having our favourites for sure, are more able to understand how the Championship itself is what is interesting, no matter who wins. But we have to just put up with these little boys I'm afraid. :taunt:

 

Yeah, it's too bad he's missed so much golf as of late. Hopefully his latest back surgery is in the rear view and....
