Dislike: Titleist t-mb; bought into the hype and loved the look, but they felt terrible! People say my mp25s feel bad but geez!!

Pro v1/X: Can't afford them so why not hate 'em. Gimme my duo u/ Snell!

Cobra F6+ sounds terrible but produces low spin bombs for me!!

So many people had the two ball putter but it never did anything for me. Not denying that it helped others putting, it just didn't help me.

Unfortunately another vote for the AP2 - just never even got close to liking them. Similarly I had 2 sets of I20s and loathed both sets, despite loving most other ping irons.

 

Also always struggled to like Taylormade drivers. When pured they go miles, but anything slightly off centre was a garunteed lost ball! Also struggled with the SLDR as I just couldn't get it to stay in the air due to lack of spin..........can I be chucked off WRX for admitting that?

 

Two ball putter was also one that I had issues with......longest putt I made was about 2 inches.

 

That said I might just be wierd because I love my Ansers which most people hate!

Wilson fg tour V4's, nothing but good things said about them on here but for me they just felt cheap and were very average in their performance. Back to Mizzy.

Didn't like the Ping G30 at all. It sounds like it's made out of some weird glass. I also hate most putters, especially the ones that look like ancient middle eastern chastity belts.

I didnt like the 2014 Apex that everyone raved about here, but I also wasnt fitted for it so I give it a slight pass

I tested the CF16 Apex and didn't find anything about it buttery soft that people describe but it might just be I don't make good contact

I obsessed over the G30 driver until i actually tested it and didnt like the feel or the sound (this was coming from a Nike SQ driver so i know loud sounds)

I bought the Vokey SM5 based on reputation which is in my bag right now, but to be honest I dont understand the hype. Again might just be I don't have the skillset to really utilize it.

AP2, I have tried to like them several times but something about the head shape just turns me off and I always change my mind.

me 2. My pal off 4 plays great with his, but when I look down at them they do not suit my eye.

 

+1. I didn't like the way they felt or the turf interaction. Not to mention the price they charge for them and then upcharge on shafts on top of that.

They feel REALLY good when setup right, just have a little smaller sweet spot.....I love mine.....

First off... Anything that comes across the THP board is like the best thing ever!!!! I stopped trusting what info comes out of there a long time ago and is the main reason why this site has become my go to. I want honest opinions, not OEM brown nosing which is misleading to those of us who are looking for REAL info. I swear Callaway owns part of that site.

Anyway, I would have to say the i20 irons in this case. So much hype and praise about how good these irons are and I bought into it.... twice. I really tried to like these but they were just horrible... Feel sucked, they were shorter than anything else I tried and I found them to be terrible through the turf. Pretty much everything I have ever played has been better. I traded away some J40 CBs for those pieces of garbage... worst move I ever made regarding equipment.

I've never seen anyone call the CF16's soft. That's one of the obvious knocks on them. The Pro's are soft.

Well this topic is perfect for Mizuno. Mizuno has been loved by some of the worst golfers and yet even some of the medicore golfers across this great world.. When ever someone brings up Mizuno's as "great" all the giggles start. . Lets face it Mizunos are the walmart clubs of golf, which is fine .

This is one of the best threads I've read recently! I'm right there with a lot of these.... m1 m2 just don't like them, never knew about the tipped shafts, now I might try one with non stock.

 

This thread got me thinking of how much $$$ I've spent on stuff I just don't like....I have 2 brand new putters and a set of apex black in my trunk just waiting to get posted on eBay and a brand new set of iblade's and Tr 1966 anser in my bag!

2-Ball putters. Yet to find any version that I can make a putt with. That optical thing just doesn't work for me.

 

I don't sleep with my SLDR because I have 2 of them... and it would get awkward.

I'd say the SLDR. Tried a few different heads and a ton of different shaft combos. The thing is just a brick.

Not a fan of Scotty putters. Much prefer the small putter millers out there. Ping G30 was mediocre at best as was the M1

On the flip side, if you were to ask what I like that most people don't , a bunch of Cleveland gear. I'm currently using a CG Black tour driver 7.5 loft with a glue in hosel with a hzrdus black. What a club. Hahaha

SuperStroke grips of any kind. If I buy a putter with a SS grip, it gets cut off before I roll a ball with it.
