That is some weird Frankenstein putter. Its an old Daytona body with an Indy neck and the old surlyn insert. Hey but whatever works for ya, go get em DJ.

There's a reason Day uses it. #1 and #2 in the world using the Spider. Bottom line is, higher MOI and groove face technology keeps the putts more online and provides more forward roll, even for the very best players in the world. Obviously nobody is saying someone can't be great with whatever putter gives them confidence, but the technology is real and measureable, and sometimes THAT is what gives the player the most confidence.

Yes. It was standard on the white Ghost Tour putters a few years ago. Silver in color, 80% surlyn and 20% aluminum. Good feeling insert with a feel between a soft insert and a non insert putter.

 

Here is a good picture. It says Pure Roll on it but the insert doesn't feel like plastic or rubber.

Usually. They have many different versions of the Pure Roll insert, but the silver one is usually the one we call the 80/20. It's a mix of 80% Surlyn and 20% aluminum. The black Pure Roll insert, stock on many of there putters a few years ago, is 100% Surlyn. The 80/20 has a firmer feel than the all Surlyn insert.
