Because this is such a big money and world ranking points event, this has been a huge week for guys like Billy, Soren Kjeldsen, Hideto Tanihara and Ross Fisher.

 

They just interviewed him on Sky Sports and they asked him about playing Rahm tomorrow and he said that hopefully Rahm would have some gas station sushi tonight. Nice to see someone with a bit of a humour. I've always liked Bill as well - he just seems like an old school golfer, not fancy, dresses smart but not outlandish. He is in for a tough game tomorrow though.

I agree. That said he was won multiple times on the Japan Tour, and I believe he is 38...the combination of winning, as well as his age, may stand in his favor.

Nice article on Hatton's penalty Friday. The new local rule was in effect, so no penalty for accidentally moving his ball on the putting green. All he had to do was replace it. Pretty simple, Hatton just had a brain fart. I'm happy to see the tour using the new local rule as it will eliminate the problem that DJ had last year. The player still has to use his head and least a little bit of common sense. If you cause the ball to move, you must replace it.

If you're interested in joining, it's a 10 year wait, $100K initiation fee and $2k per month member fees. Oh and that doesn't even include unlimited cart rentals.
