I got my 12 dozen Callaway and I'm very pleased. 4 dozen reg, 6 dozen +, 1.5 dozen ++ and 7 SR3. Most balls look mint to brand new. Less than a dozen have light scuffs that are still playable by my standards.

I just sharpie over it - "Mine's the one with the blue mark on it" Job done. Just to prevent anyone thinking it's not in play.

 

I don't give a toss it says practice on it, but I had a playing partner knock one of mine back towards the driving range once - "Yeah it was a TM ball, but it said practice on it..."

Ordered 4 dozen of the Taylormade TP/TPx and I got 18 TPx in good/great shape but received 30 Lethal (a ball I like and love) but all of the lethals are discolored and not in good condition. Pretty sure they used this deal to unload some stock they couldn't get rid of. Looks like they achieved this goal.

 

Won't be ordering from LGB again as I could have just bought a lethal pack from taylormade and knew exactly what I was getting. It's still a good deal but 100% a crap shoot.

I was trying to be more positive/charitable than you ;) but I agree that there is a drop off in quality with the Lethals that are included versus the TPs and it was the Lethals that I remarked earlier as being the ones that were beat up.

My srixon assortment is certainly near mint. The PRACTICE is way too big to sharpie over IMO. I'd rather just "deal with" it being there

Exact same thoughts I had when I received mine, 13 of the 24 balls were lethals and most had some flaws

If this is a real concern, then you need more self-confidence or different playing partners.

I can't speak on the srixons however all of my callaway and Nike were correct and in very good shape, only the TM had problems with the lethals

I ordered 4 dozen Callaway and 6 dozen Taylor Made. Getting that many brown scuffed Leathals after them not being listed will now change my future choices of who to use for used balls. Feel bad for the pro that was beating those on the range next to the other pros. Bet he gets made fun of. My mix is below.

Yeah, I'm truly doubting they were on the range at that tournament. I could be totoally wrong, but as brown as those balls are compared to the others, I'm in disbelief that they were. Would expect more from a sponsor here, but it is what it is. These threads speak volumes to quality and honesty based on descriptions provided here and on their website. I rarely complain, but when 1/3 or more of their balls sold were not only not as described but not even the listed ball offered, it is very disappointing.

THe only problem would be the website and their representative here stated the balls would be TP or TPX. I could see one or two slipping in but more the 3 dozen is a little excessive. That led me to believe this year's tournament. No big deal either way. eBay will come in handy. See THEIR quote below.

I had never bought from them before so I gave it a shot to try out the tp/tpx as I only have around 7 dozen lethal left from the woot deal a few years back. It's a life lesson, and now I know who I won't do business with. I have no problem with getting lethals but it's just not what I was led to believe I was ordering. It's still just $1 a ball.

I received my 10 dozen Callaways today

 

I ended up with qty-7 SR3's, qty-9 Chrome soft ++'s and the rest are Chrome Soft regular or +'s.

 

Condition is great. I have a hard time telling any were hit. I'm a happy camper for ~$0.75/ball.

I'm not totally turned off, well, just by the lethals. Now I have to do my homework to find out what all then• and + and ++ and <<>> means. Not that it matters, they all get lost just the same.

Different years, 2015 and 2016 markings. How's the quality? If they're ok I might buy a few, the TM saga scared me off a bit.

If I received ANYTHING I didn't like that WAS NOT listed at the time of purchase, I'd follow-up with their CS and push for them to ship replacements at their cost and also cover return shipping if they want the others back.

 

I'm still on the fence about some Nikes. The description says only RZN Platinum which I'd be fine with, but the description here listed Black as well which I'd like to avoid. I guess if I got a bunch of Blacks I could just follow my own advice...
