So I only got a dozen of TM. Yes, I know, not very cost effective but I thought I would give TM balls a chance since I already have over 10 dozen of other brands. But I got 6 TPX and 6 Lethal...not the happiest.

Decent shape. Probably around 4A but on the lower end of that spectrum.

And to compound everything (at least for me) is that 4A TP/TPX balls on LBG are the same price as these. So we all bought into the whole Tour Practice balls, which is fine, but not when we don't get exactly what we expected.

Found 1 minor scuff upon second review. All else are mint.

Grabbed a few dozen Srixons (only nike and srixons available at time of purchase). They are in great shape, look mint. About even split between Z-Star and Z-XV.

I ordered 5 dozen Bridgestone and I'm very pleased. Only 9 balls that have any sign of usage. The worst ball only has a minor wedge tear/scrape. All B330S have practice stamps and are about half and half 2015/2016. Only about half of the B330 have practice stamps and are again about half and half 2015/2016. Breakdown below.

 

34 - AAAAA or new B330S

17 - AAAAA or new B330

3 - AAAA B330S (minor marks, will play)

6 - AAAA B330 (minor marks, will play all but 1)

I apologize for the delay in getting a response back to this thread! We had the opportunity to purchase the practice balls that were used by PGA Pro's for the Memorial Tournament. All of the golf balls are the tour models from each brand:

 

Bridgestone - B330 / B330-S

Callaway - Chrome Soft / SR3

Nike - RZN Platinum / RZN Black

Srixon - Z-Star / Z-Star XV

TaylorMade - Tour Preferred / Tour Preferred X

 

I have personally been able to put my hands on most of these golf balls and they look fantastic, some appear to have never even been touched. We only have a limited supply available so make sure you take advantage before they are gone! Please let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks!

 

Any reason why your post doesn't mention Lethals for TM purchases but it appears most packages have significant amounts of lethals included and in bad if not horrible condition? I'm asking because I purchased 3 dz of the TM selection and I'm awaiting delivery on Monday.

 

I apologize for the wrong information about the models that would be included in the TaylorMade batch, we had conflicting information about which models it contained. It was confirmed after the post that all the TaylorMade golf balls were Tour Preferred X and Lethal models. If you are unsatisfied with anything you received, please reach out to our Customer Service team and we will be happy to resolve any issues. thank you for replying. I just received my order and here was the breakdown:

 

3 dz,

1st dz, 4 out of 12 were lethals

2nd dz, 4 out of 12 were lethals

3rd dz, 6 of 12 were lethals.

 

almost a third of the order were lethals and conditions were not what i expected given the condition of the Tour Preferreds in the same delivery. I will reach out to your customer service as your post instructs.

I just got off the phone with Lost Balls in regard to my Taylormade order - they accepted responsibility for the Lethal quality and are going to make it right by me. Based on the other positive feedback by people here from the other manufacturers I assume it was a communication issue with their supplier.

Might be worth reaching out to them with your order number. If anyone needs some "Lethl" PRACTICE shag balls let me know before my teenager gets them.

What are they doing for you by making it right? I ordered 2 dozen TM and of the 24 14 were lethals and they are pretty beat, Essentially back yard balls. I would have just ordered more of some other ball instead, if I knew that was gonna happen. Who knows

I sent an email Sunday, got an email with a call back number this morning. Called this afternoon and spoke with a Supervisor Matt. My order was over half LETHL, LETHA etc. depending on the marks across the logo. He took ownership and beyond that acknowledged the issue with the TaylorMade balls. Not typically a big fan of used ball sites however I will state he TPX balls I received were in very good shape albeit not enough. Give them a call and see what they will do for you. Likewise I would have ordered Srixons had I known ahead of time the TM problems.

No one has really complained once LGB stepped up. Not like we all got pitchforks out, just stated our displeasure. Obviously now that LGB is stepping up, which we all hoped, things are being made right.

Just received a store credit of $2!!! Only 11 of my 24 balls were subpar lethals so they sure made it right in my book. Now shipping will only be $8 and I can pay full price for a dozen of who knows what they'll send.

Since they never stated the grade of the balls (at least I never saw it), I'm not sure why people are so upset? yes there was a mistake on here about what was in the batch, but on the website from the beginning, I saw that the Tmade batch included lethals.... also, never saw a promise of AAAAA or even AAAA balls. they are trying to do something for yall so thats great

Got all my golf balls. Ordered 12 dozen of the nikes.

 

They are basically unhit. Haven't seen one yet that is remotely close to be scuffed or marked in any way. Good mixture of red vs blue (not sure what that means? Maybe year?)

Blue is the 2016 model - Red is the 2015 model.

Got my srixons. Most look unhit but there are many with some small scuffs. Nothing too bad. Can't complain at this price.

I'm like others who ordered Srixons. 3 dozen mint balls and about even split of Z and Z-XV. Some have no apparent signs of play. Thrilled with what I got.

So here's my story.

 

I emailed the rep after I ordered and requested only tpx balls. He said no problem

 

fast forward to the next day and I get an email saying they are out of the balls bc they filled all the normal orders and put mine to the side since they needed to sort for me.

 

I called Matt up and spoke with him. He offered a refund or to make it right since all he had left was lethals that he said were in too poor of shape to give me. I asked if he would send me AAAAA LETHALS instead for the price I paid. These are 17.99 on the website. He obliged.

 

Got the balls today. They are all mint. He threw in an extra dozen for my troubles along with a towel, poker chip ball marker, and two bags of tees.

 

Solid company and they fixed the issue perfectly in my opinion. I'll send them my business again.

Red are the 2015 model and blue are the 2016 model. The year change for the B330 is designated by different side markings.

Got mostly Lethals in my 3 dozen (probably 24) and the rest were tpx. Probably 3 or 4 were a bit rough but the rest looked like they were hit for a range session. None seemed new or unhit, but for $12 a dozen shipped Im fine with them.

 

I didn't realize any pros were playing lethals.

Got my 4 dozen Nikes. 1 dozen of the RZN tour platinum and 2 dozen of the platinum. Only 1 ball of the 3 dozen looked like it was actually hit.
