Of all current PGA tour players, DJ is one of maybe two or three I'd be quickest to believe this about. Something strange going on with this whole thing--something they're not telling us.

 

EDIT: I certainly don't mean to come off as a conspiracy theorist here. It just seems like a fairly minor injury, and given that NFL QBs play through the physical equivalent of a car wreck each week and still manage to use fine motor skills to throw to moving targets (not to mention the speed of the game), I'd imagine there would be a pharmaceutical solution that would let him play.
