If Fowler can putt decently this week I like his chances. Plays well on links courses, and he is #1 on the tour in sand saves which could prove to be beneficial giving all the bunkers on the course. I also like his ball flight, short game, and patience.

 

If it turns into an iron play clinic I like Jordan and Adam, especially if Jordan does not hit driver very much. The nod would go to Jordan due to putting and short game though.

 

I also like Hideki but he needs to dial it back off the tee. If he can play controlled off the tee he will be hard to beat.

 

I really think the winner will be someone who uses control and restraint off the tee and is patient. Plays what the course and conditions give them, and does not try to force birdies or overpower the golf course.

Same weather, massive heatwave that year! Didn't rain in months....it was hot hot hot. You could putt on the fairways they were that dry and burnt
