The all black looks luscious. I just happen to have some black wedge shafts they can go into whenever I am done with my MD3s. Look forward to seeing the wear on them.

From what I was told, the "silver" and "bronze" color are shiny, so for guys like me who want a non reflective glare free finish, they'll opt for the murdered out option.

The middle looks quite similar to the Taylormade Milled Grind Antique Bronze?

 

Bottom one looks pretty shiny but would have to see another picture with different lighting (as with them all...)

 

Although the black looks pretty cool I don’t think it will age too well so that’d probably be a no from me.

 

I wonder if the wedges will feel different by finish, I know in the past that has been the case. Looking forward to giving them a go and putting them against the MD4, will buy one of the two.

Yeah you could. If you really wanted them I would order and have them rebuilt at a local, reputable club builder. If not, you can order it from Wedge Works but it is more expensive.

It's possibly different for you guys in the States but you can order them with the swing weight adjusted here in the UK. Custom Order through your Pro Shop would be the way to go for me rather than going through the hassle of ordering them, then getting them made up again. That or lead lead tape.

You have to find an authorized Titleist dealer like your pro shop or any local store usually that deals with golf equipment to order. Then you can spec up any way you'd like. If you order a month before release you will usually have them on the launch date.

I really think there will be no 60 F but the K grind is close and has the same amount of bounce as a 60 F would have.

The black is from what I heard solid black, so it won't fade like they used to.

my SM6 black held up pretty well over last season. unfortunately the heads did better than the black S400s, as they chipped in a few spots. i'd love to do all black again, but i'm not sure if i will....that get to be an awfully expensive 1yr wedge, and ~$600 for three of them. i had also read some feedback here that the finish (TVD) made it feel a little bit more clicky than the others. which kinda makes me want to order the discounted SM6 in gunmetal for ~$350.

This is what I would right off the bat anyway. My old RAC wedges were raw... Not only did they look awesome after a year of use, but man they could spin that ball like crazy. Granted... more of the grooves than raw finish, but the face did stay pretty rough unlike my last wedges, MD2's which were chrome plated. Once those wore out they almost started to feel... slippery, on the face.

i was just perusing through the wedgeworks options for SM6...and was thinking about going that route. i'll probably switch from a 52/58 setup to a 50/54/58, so keeping good wedges is going to get way more expensive.

CLR works a bit faster in my experiences, lus you can pour it back in the bottle and reuse if you want to remove rust later.

 

Does anyone have the Grind specs? I was hoping to try a lower bounce K rather than buying it blindly on wedgeworks.
