Can't believe I have to pick just one. My hat goes out to Robert as there are some beauties in there. I chose this one as I love the antique look of it. I'd do away with the sight-line and add a site dot. Gotta put "Hairpie" on the sole, and my kids initials down the front of the neck (J-H-N)....After that I'd leave it alone...

No doubt about it the putter I would pick is the Skull and Bones BB8 Tour Putter, I would add some color to the Skull and Cross Bones and my Initials. Just the most gorgeous putter!!!

Hey, just curious ... how 'strict' are the entry rules?

 

Why?

 

Well, cruising through this thread and all the posts, it seems MANY have not followed the entry rules. In particular the "post a link to it" requirement.

 

And.

 

Quite a few posts do not have links to the Bettinardi Hive Archive Website either, but, instead link to pics etc.

 

So, how strict are the entry rules?

Probably a DASS FCB type putter with Zombees chasing stinger bees on the bottom, Fun (let their imagination run with that one) milling on the face, brown, lavender, and green snow on the muscle, Twisty slant neck, a fun sight dot (again imagination from them), and in a matte/faded torched finish

 

either a cork grip or thick ostrich leather grip

Sooo FREAKING cool! I've actually been trying to save money here and there to get a custom putter made, so if there's ever one of these I'd want to be picked for, it would be this one.

 

Everything in this paragraph is negotiable after consulting with 'the man'. I love the look of the HM putters, so I'd probably pick something like this: https://bettinardi.c...dass/. I'm. I'm left eye dominant, so I'd probably get it modified to be center shafted in 33.5" with at least a 350G head. I'd love to discuss and compare the feel of the fly milling to the other options while on site with the crew. I'm totally open to most anything though...I'd do my best to get out of the way and be a blank canvas.

 

This is where the fun begins. On the bottom of the putter, I'd want to have my kids names and their birthdays engraved. I love the Bettinardi skulls, so i'd want at least one of those in the cavity.

I'd go with one of the older designs. A 2012 Stock Studio 9.

 

To make it mine, I'd want the head done with the raw finish with tiffany blue paint fill & make it center shafted. I'd have some tungsten or other heavy metal weight ports drilled into the bottom to bring the weight up to 370g - 380g. I'd finish it off with some custom stamping on the back of the face, a Brown leather Gripmaster & a chocolate brown leather cover with tiffany blue stitching.

Done up like a John Deere 4410; black tires on the outer flanges, dark green with yellow sight line. Stamping to look like tires, maybe a Betti bee in the driver's seat in the hollow. Black honeycomb face. No clue on the cover! Maybe green and gold, "Nothing rolls like Betti".
