I think I'm down to about 6, but only 3 of them have a chance of breaking the starting lineup. I did just get a new Newport 2 yesterday though. I think that one will go in straight away.

Yep, most definitely Rob. He has an absolutely amazing collection of beautiful, rare, old, stunning putters. Hopefully he'll see this thread and share some more pics.

Practice using some 15 different in the rotation just for fun.

But, Ping Nome since the start of the year, don't see it going to the bench anytime soon.

Many putter collectors out there. I have about 40 myself. From original longnose putters from 1890's to ping scottsdale ansers (2) 1966/67, a handmade scotty cameron as well as my favorite napa, and bb2 style putters...I have about 20 of these blades. Here is a couple pics...

 

 

You guys mentioned Rob McHugh. Check out his stuff at puttertalk. He listed many of his putters with a nice description of each. He knows his stuff. Also Cameron Collector has putter collections that will blow your mind...

LOL....I love reading these threads over and over as they come up through the years. Probably one of the most popular questions since GolfWRX.com ever started. I like to see what people think are keepers and what people hoard.

 

I'm on the hoarding end of the scale. I've owned a lot of putters through the years. I've hung on to mostly 8802 styles. Currently own way too many customs, retails and tours as well. Probably more than most can fathom the need to own that much but I figure it this way. I'm old, I'm comfortable in life and if putters are my only vice, I'm pretty good with it. ;)
