Evidently Brooks is "Yoked, Ripped and Jacked".....Orly?

My favorite ball player of all time was listed as 6'1" and between 180-190 his entire career. Look at him, then look at Brooks, and you know that Brooks is a helluva lot bigger than 6'0" 186. The height I buy, the weight has clearly not been updated in a few years.

I agree. There is no way that he's 186 lbs. I'm 5'11" and about 205 lbs, and he's bigger that I am. My wife even commented when I told him that he's listed at 186 lbs. that there is no way that's his actual weight. I talked to a guy a few years ago that played with him in the Pro Am at the Phoenix Open, and he was about my size when I asked how big of a guy he was at the time. I weighed about 10 lbs more at that point than I do now.

As for his "skinny legs", they aren't that skinny. I coached high school boys basketball for 6 years, and his legs are a lot bigger than their legs, including a lot of seniors. I'm aware that some of the comments about his legs are jokes.

Come on..if you’re a stocky 5’11’ 205lb you are thicker than he is. I’m 6’1-6’2” 190-195 and leaner and I’m still “stockier” than Brooks. IF he is 6’0” I guarantee he’s low-mid 190’s and 15-18% body fat. The only reason he appears stocky is because of the special Nike shirts with small sleeves.

Thanks! I know, right now having some lower back issues. Difficult to straighten up fully, painful to walk. Hard to think about exercise at the moment. :dntknw:

You have probably been told this or already know this but having a strong core takes care of the majority of lower back problems. You will also get more results from proper eating then working out when it comes to loosing weight. Lot of people say going to the gym is the hard part but imo eating properly is the hardest part. Need the calorie deficiency. Stay strong, with your end goal in mind; wont be easy but think of how good you will feel at the end.

Thanks, Gulag. Got to get a handle on my self-defeating pattern: being too heavy & knowing I need to eat better & less makes me feel depressed; when I feel depressed my reaction is to eat. Wish I was one of those people who reacted to feeling depressed by not eating.

What I’ve learned about all of this is if you stay at it and just continue your commitment to eat better, you learn how to do it over time. Ups and downs to begin with are not a deal killer. Persistence and sustained commitment work. Diet >> exercise to lose weight.

I just came in to say Brooks really isn't all that special. His arms aren't that cool. He's ok I guess but I know a LOT of people that are way better at things than him.

I was a collegiate offensive back. Brooks would have been one of the scrawnier guys I worked out with...much like a quarterback, or kicker. It's all relative. He's thick for a pro golfer, but let's not get in a tizzy...

So we’ve reached the fake online athlete portion of the thread. What in the actual f*** is an offensive back...

Since you fully set yourself up for this one Ill educate you..

On the offensive side(hint: the side who has the ball), a quarterBACK, fullBACK/halfBACK/tailBACK(all running backs) are all considered offensive backs.

Golf is primarily an explosive power based game a la sprinting, shotput, baseball hitting. It's not an endurance sport like marathon running, it's not a mental sport like chess. The name of the game is controlled raw explosive power. Now that Tiger enlightened the world on this concept and changed the game, this is what the future will look like. Pure unadulterated man meat crushing PEDs like John Daly did Coors Light and hitting 370+ yard dingers off the tee.

hahaha its the MOST mental sport out there!!!!

Take the top 1000 players in the world... they all have beautiful swings and could win the Masters with their swing BUT the only thing what separates them is their mental game haha!

Can't figure how to like my own posts

You line up in the backfield

Then yell insults at the D like,

"You got a fat @ss and your sister says hi!"

Regardless of what his actual size is, Brooks is a strong looking guy. His GF, on the other hand, is very attractive but alarmingly thin.

Brooks' girlfriend is 5'11" 225. She looks small because Brooks is around 6'3", 280.

Haha oh my god. That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.

She’s clearly only 220

I warned against getting in a tizzy. FWIW - college is where some of your friends went after high school.

According to this article, he weighed 212 lbs when he came back after his injury in late April. The article was written in early June.

He doesn't look like he's lost 15-20 lbs since early April, and if with how much he works out, it would be very difficult to do.

Great article. He wanted to be a baseball player and that's exactly what he looks like
