Feedback on the F9 hybrids please?! How do they compare to the F8? Thanks

Think I read somewhere they are slightly bigger than the F8, otherwise don’t expect a ton of change.

I never hit the F8 but the F9 sounds and looks great. Weather turned to crap right after my first range session though and I haven't got it out on the course yet.

It's hard to judge the rails when all you have to hit off are worn mats.

Can anyone weight their F9 3/4 head (non tour)? I just weighed mine and it is 6 grams lighter than my F7 head. F9 was 207 and F7 was 213.

Just wondering if a may have got a light head, if not looks like I’m sticking with the F7.

What is the advantage/disadvantage of ordering a tour length driver? Just more control but less distance?

... More control and added distance for many. Considering you lose approx 5-7 yds for every 1/4" you miss the center, missing 1" toward the toe which is pretty common, can cost you 20 - 28 yds. I will always remember DLIII saying when he needed a big drive, he dialed his swing down just a hair and concentrated on perfect contact. And for many of us, perfect contact is easier at Tour Length or shorter.

Someone posted on here earlier about the head weight of their driver...here’s mine...with the head and weights only (14g and 2g) it weighs in at 195g. I ordered mine to play at 44.5” but since it wasn’t specifically requested for stock swing weight (even though it said it on paper I received) I got stock weights instead of 18 and 6

First round with my 9’ Stiff HZRDUS Smoke and it’s every bit as good as I’d hoped!!

Spent the last 18 months with a 2017 M1 and found myself getting into trouble off the tee a lot, when middles it went long but it wasn’t the most forgiving off centre...

This is wher the Cobra shines.....I hit 4 drives right out of the middle and it went further than anything I’ve ever hit (with the exception of my Vapor Pro), I also hit a few others slightly out of the toe and a few low on the face that with my old driver would have been either very short or big hook left....the Cobra kept them on the fairway and lost very little distance

So far I’m very very impressed....the feel is phenomenal and it looks like the driver to finally take out the left side that caused me problems for the last few years!!

Im really thinking about going full Cobra.

Is the Cobra Connect functional out on the course?

... Cobra Connect is very functional and informative. But be careful what you ask for as it can be a real eye opener for some. Perfect example as I am a 66yr old that still gets it out there for my age. Using my CC last summer I hit a bomb on a 488yd par 5 leaving me 183 to a middle pin. Guys I was playing with were all over my "300+ yd drive". After my round I checked my CC and that drive was 283. I skirted the right edge of the right dogleg fairway and of course the hole is measured down the middle with a turn, so 305 by the card drive was 283 according to Cobra Connect. But it will give you exact yardage and average out your drives as the crow flies and provides accurate information. Before playing mine last summer I thought I could till get it out there 300 with my best drives but realized unless I had some wind and a firm fairway that just wasn't true anymore.

i got a 14g weight from cobra. It isn't red...it's pink. This can't be right, right?

It's the 14g weight for the ladies F9 driver... It will fit, but might not match your color scheme.

As does global golf. Global will provide better trade-in values as well.

I swung the F9 Tour 3wd today against some other makes and models at PGA Superstore. Without a doubt this is the fairway to beat this year. The size is very nice and compact, had great ball flight from the deck and teed up. Sound was VERY muted. Great carbon crack sound. My mishits weren't punished much at all out at the toe. Heel shots suffered more. I would have walked out with the F9 if it weren't for me finding last years TM M3 and cranking a few out that rivaled the F9, and the M3 being SUPER marked down as a demo with nary a scratch on it. The size between the M3 and F9 Tour were basically the same to me.

Again, this is THE fairway king this year. It has every box checked off. Ping G410, Callaway Flash, Titleist's offerings, and Mizuno's all fell behind noticeably. The M6 was keeping up (didnt try the titanium M5 bc of price).

I was in galaxy earlier today after hitting the m6 and F9 lines at my course on track man. I wasn€™t even told about the 50% trade towards cobra!! Them you know what€™s.!!!! They only told me about the 150% taylormade is doing. I was close to doing that but m6 fairway said 4-22 ship date. Can€™t wait that long as my season will have started.

I will say there also was no signage in store about the 50% trade towards F9 line either.

As for now, the F9 at 10.5* with 8 grams up front and 16 grams in the back with a Tour AD-DI 6x is killing it for me. Headed indoors tomorrow for some LM work as rain is killing us around here. I love my G400 max as I rarely missed a FW with it, but I'm getting 15 yards or more distance with the F9 and my misses are barely out of the FW. I love that I have no fear of going left and can't just unload if I like with my new set-up and shaft combo. One of the better driver's I've hit in a while.

AI Smoke Triple Diamond

HiBore 2w “Unicorn”

G410 3w & 3h

Currently testing the rest 🙂

Got fitted today for the F9 driver at 9° slightly delofted and 3-4 fairway with the Fujikura Atmos TS Blue 6S and 7S respectively. Coming from a Callaway XR non-fitted driver and a steel shafted 3 wood from 1996 I’m excited for the potentially new sticks. I saw a significant increase in performed from the old 3 wood (obviously), and a slight increase in driver distance and lower spin despite how poor my swings were today. How are the F9s performing on the course?
